Part two. 5 More first signs of Spring in my old Suffolk garden that bring me joy. East Anglia

I'm a bit late uploading this! This video is the second part to the lovely things appearing in my old garden, here in the heart of Suffolk, East Anglia. Things which bring me joy and uplift me during that period of time when Winter is ebbing away and Spring is just around the corner. Wishing you a wonderful day. x

The light coming back is definitely one of my favourite things, plus the blackbirds singing in the morning! We had a lovely sunny day last week and I saw 4 bumble bees! They know spring is on the way ❤️🐝

Thank you for sharing your joys im glad my bulbs have at last come into bloom. Lighter evenings too though there's a little sadness for me as the dear little girl who lived next door and loved to show me her dancing until it grew dark has moved on but happy memories. Spring my favourite time hope to see the Lambs soon too

The green haze of bursting leaf buds has given me much joy over the years also….not just because I’m a nurseryman but as a human being. Your snowflakes (leucojum versus) are fantastic, I’ve sold hundreds of them over the years…..snowdrops not so much, there are far too many weird and wonderful varieties which while often pretty you need to be on your knees or using a mirror (starts to look pervy then) to appreciate, they’ve also become big business…..but the straight Galanthus nivalis is undoubtedly lovely. Which if all thosee that only want native plants had their way we would lose as snowdrops are not natives….but there is a world of plants to explore out there. I don’t know your name but I’m due to make a new video series on my own channel soon after a bit of a break and I’d like to recommend your channel…..it’s delightful…..I have known lots of folk from Norfolk and Suffolk over the years, especially other nurserymen. Wonderful and thank you. Best wishes…..Malcolm

Down south in Gosport, over the estuary and adjoining grassland, we are enjoying the last few weeks of thousands of Brent Geese ,feeding themselves up before they migrate. Quite breathtaking with the early sunrises. Not long now, before they're off, but their departing heralds in the Spring. They were in great numbers this winter, a relief that they are thriving despite the bird flu.🍄🪺🌲🪻🌿

I'm with you on the snowflakes, AKA leucojum. We have these is our garden in Cumbria and it's good to know they've probably been here since before the house was built. Keep making your videos, I look forward to them.

Loving the lengthening days though weather a bit chilly at the moment and not very spring like though happy with the snow free winter.
