Lol. Whenever marguerite is acting she always just lies on the couch and dies

Okay, this by far is my favorite adaptation of The Scarlett Pimpernel, but would it would be nice just once to see a production where the people who are supposed to have been born and bred French have even a slight French accent. It really is hard to take seriously a film centered around the horror of the French Revolution where all of the people, even the "French peasants" have thick British accents.

+Arlethea Pressley It would be even stranger hearing an English actor with a French accent talking in English even though he is supposed to be a french aristocrat who never speaks a word of English...and all for a movie released to a predominately English audience...

It's interesting, The Scarlet Pimpernel novel isn't even about the Scarlet Pimpernel, it's about Marguerite. There was no sword fighting or any fighting of any sort. You only heard about the Pimpernel, or saw his affects on other people, like Marguerite did. Although I like the way that this movie shows the Pimpernel's doings, which is in all points more interesting than just Marguerite's point of view, I'd like to see a movie focusing on more of it.

:Look at 5:15. Percy's jacket gets caught on the balcony and as he pulls it off, he glances at his coat for a brief moment and makes a small face at it. :)

I disagree. I don't think he's capable of love. He is infatuated with Marguerite and he thinks he's in love. She's totally gorgeous, and who could blame him for having the hots for her, but he doesn't "know the meaning of love" to borrow from Armand.
