In the US When the whole community participates we call it a town wide rummage sale or town wide garage sales. We consider a flea market to be 1 location with a bunch of venders who have booths, which also looks a lot like our antique stores

Always happy to see a fellow Digimon lover :D That franchise is my jam, I collect mostly the figurines, but I alos have a whole bunch of plushies, oops. That G3 playset is so cute, I have it too! And of course all the lovely Barbies

OMG 😂😂😂 yeah I started singing in this video twice 🤣 but I listen to the Barbie & the Rockers soundtrack so often I have the song stuck in my head permanantly~ I needed to let it out here 😂 If you're into typical 80s pop music, the songs of that album are all really good 🎉 I was surprised how much good stuff there was to be found. I mean there were so many more houses participating and we just found stuff at a handful of places but it was worth it❣❣❣ Barbie, G1 Pony, Cherry Merry Muffin ~ I couldn't be happier ❤❤❤ Thank you 💗 And a neck-repair video is coming. I just need to find the time, the motivation to do it on camera and good dolls to show it on.😉

Actually, yes they are. There is a playset with a rainbow slide. I think that's an amusement park one. Love that one 😍 But I have barely space for G1 playsets 😂 sooooo... I need to keep my fingers away from any others🙈 I hope you find the castle.🤞 When you put the matching Baby Pony there, it activates music or something, right?🏰🎶

It's like a closet Cosplay for Barbie or a Barbie-Bound 😅 Here it is so hard to find the 2nd and 3rd wave Cherry Merry Muffin dolls. The first set must have been somewhat successful, online you find them often. I cross my fingers you can also find some up north 😉🤞💗💗💗

What great finds! I always have better luck in yard/garage sales. A lot of the flea markets around me are just full of people selling weird knock sunglasses or t-shirts. We do have a vintage He-Man store in the local mall here though so I can't complain too much (it's called Castle Grayskull lol). Your Barbie and the Beat turned out really nice. If I didn't know what the original looked like, I wouldn't be able to tell her hair was cut. I'd love to see a neck repair tutorial if you ever get another Barbie with the same issue.

This yard sale thing is still very new in Germany. But inspired by the US a lot of smaller towns or villages are using this concept now. But me living in the big city Berlin, the normal flea markets are still the norm and just some neightborhoods are doing the garage sale thing yet. But I liked it a lot ✌ Thank you 💕💕💕

Cheers. I think you could repair the MLP G3 Play Set. Unfortunately, the contacts may corrode if a battery has been inserted for a long time. It may help if you treat the contacts with a thin layer of greaseproof paper so that the black coating is no longer present. Otherwise, you could remove the metal contacts and replace them with new ones.

Haha~ japp Kiki hatte eine Cosplayerin auf dem Kieker und wollte zeigen, dass man Zoe/ Izumi besser cosplayen kann 🤣 Dann haben wir Frontier OmU geguckt und Kiki war in Kouji verschossen und ich hab ihn gecosplayed. Und dann haben wir nach und nach alle Staffeln geguckt und gecosplayed. Ich kannte Digimon natürlich schon aus meiner Kindheit. Übrigends hatte ich entschieden den Flohmarkt bei euch weg zu lassen. Das, was ich gefilmt hatte, hat mir einfach nicht gefallen 😑 ich hab das Material noch aber ich weiß nicht, ob ich irgendwann doch noch ein Video daraus mache. Vielleicht, wenn ich mal komplett nichts anderes mehr habe oder so😅

Lau! I am so interested in the video tutorial about two "methods" of neck restoration. Currently I am "restoring" my childhood barbie ski fun (full re-root by kanekalon, bought a copy of her earrings, mend her ski costume and unfortunately she has a severe broken neck ( she was living with bubblegum instead of glue at her neck since 1995 but at the same time I easily removed gum from the neck and head and cleaned my ski fun. So a huge amount of work with my barbie. But at the same time it was my very first barbie ar the age of 5. So i am looking forward to make her glorious again.

It was on TV back then. I think it was Sat1. I was so faszinated from the songs and how they drawn them dancing 😀🙂 The story was...well its cute. But the best are the songs and the art. 🙂

Ja, ich wurde übeezeugt von meiner Freundin 😆 Er ist auch tatsächlich in Benutzung. Ich sammle doppelte Barbie Kleidung darin. Habe eine Box für doppelte 80er Kleidung und eine für doppelte 90er Fashions. Im STAR WARS Koffer sind die 80er Teile😅

Aber ich beschäftige micht momentan nicht aktiv damit außer einem Tolkien KZreadr, den ich gucke. Pokemon habe ich aktuell fast am meisten aus den Augen verloren. Aber Digimon ist noch immer was besonderes. 💗💗💗

I just washed her hair and rinsed it out. Didn't brush at all. I don't know why but I like the Sparkly Critters and Cuutie Tooties that kinda belong to the Poopsie Slime Surprise family 😆 I think they look very cute and they are super easy to collect. They're very cheap at flea markets/ thrift stores right now😁 A nice change to some of the vintage toy prices😅

I've heard you can boil My Little Pony's, is it the hair only or the whole pony? To me this little unicorn-animals are totally new, I didn't knew they exist until I saw them in your videos and I like them too. 😊

I just saw on ebay the same type jacket on your "barbie and the beat" doll.. it was taged as "barbie petra by plasty fashion pack from the 1990s" I dont know if that helps or is even correct, but "die sprechende magic Petra" doll has similar sleves but a different jacket. Soo maybe from Petra?

Oh cool that you saw it. I was guessing Petra or 90s Sindy since both lines became very light neon pink in the mid 90s. And I got this jacket from a lot with both, Petra and Sindy cloths. But it is definitely not by Plasty anymore. Plasty produced Petra in the 60s and 70s to my knowledge. Not in the 90s anymore.🤔

Is there a place somewhere that lists what ponies are US exclusive? I can usually find UK exclusives listed online, but I have trouble finding which ones are US only.

I don't know of a direct list with all the US exclusives. But there are certain websites which give that info while reading about each set. Ghostofthedoll for example lists every pony set by year and in the text usually it will say if a set or one of the ponies was not released in Europe (they say "UK" instead of "Europe" since this is a UK based website). www.ghostofthedoll.co.uk/mylittlepony.php But there is another German website I use but it is written only in German so it is not helpful for you I guess which also gives this info on each pony. www.ponylande.de And I have my German Pony magazines which shows me how the sets were released here etc. And even My lilltle Wiki gives some info on some of the sets that just came out in the US. When you go to the general list of the G1 sets. A lot of the later ones are listed as US or UK etc. and marked in colors (US purple). But this is not really complete.mylittlewiki.org/wiki/G1_Ponies I also often am not entirely sure with some sets if certain European counties got this set and others didn't etc. There are also sets that the US and UK got and Germany didn't e.g.

I am a new sub and I've already binge watched most of your yard sale/flea market hauls, I love how you find so many amazing dolls at such small prices! I live in Romania and that makes it so, so difficult to find affordable second hand dolls. I am also a millenial and grew up with the superstar face, so she is the iconic barbie for me also, alongside mackie (my personal favourite sculpt) and midge, teresa, skipper etc. But I also love some of the early 2000s ones, not too many of them, but I do like the GG face mould quite a lot. Uff, but girl!! Your Midge is... 😅 hahahh, poor girl, Diva has had a botched nose job! 😂Hope you will soon find a replacement for that, cause she needs to see the bin! Heheh. I'm a big perfectionist when it comes to my dolls, I hate visible defects on them, and if the nose is busted, I don't even bother. But I did hear that clear uv nail gel is amazing for that type of restoration, no need for any paint afterwards, since it dries clear and then reflects the doll's skintone. But yeah, just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos and even though I am not into poneys or other toys like that, just Barbie, polly pocket and Sailor Moon, I love seeing all you get in these flea markets! I am in bed with a nasty cold right now and these videos of yours make my days better. Hugs from eastern europe! ❤

I'm sorry that for your perfectionist nature my Diva is not good enough. I think we are quite different. I rescued her. She had a bitten off nose. You will get to her in other videos if you watch my back catalogue of videos. I resculped her nose myself and I will clearly NOT throw her in the bin. You acutually hurt my feelings with your comment. I would NEVER replace her. I would add another one but toys that I repair, work on, re-hair are my faves in my collection. We are clearly very different collectors. Almost all my toys have imperfections. I love toys with wear and history. Sure a bitten off nose is not my fave but I needed to rescue her and she has a forever home in my collection. The nose is resculpted with epoxy putty (Milliput) in white so I needed to touch up the color. And color matching with skin tones is not easy. I have re-colored it several times and I know it is not very good. Btw. it was not the tip of the nose missing but the complete nose. So just some uv gel wouldn't do the job. I use that when some fingers are a little chewed or something minor. So either you accept that I have some visible imperfections on my toys or you don't watch my videos 😅 I don't want to read more comments telling me I should throw any of my toys in the bin 🥺

Hello Lau! Love the Hollywood Hair Teresa! Such great finds! I find it so odd that vendors would let their children play with things they are planning on selling. Especially if theyre playing hair salon. Lol. And i finally found a "grail doll" at the fleamarket. There was this huge box of 90s barbie and as soon i started looking. There was Jewel Hair Mermaid Barbie the Black variation. Her hair wasnt cut. Totally tangled, but in fixable condition. And i almost passed out right there. I bought the whole bin for 15 dollars. Hope youre doing well and that you have great luck if you go shopping this weekend.

Well, the pony belonged to this family. Probably it was the childhood pony of the mom. And the children were playing with the ponies. I guess they had G3 ponies too, judging by the G3 brushes. So the pony was not always meant to be sold. It's a garage sale type and things you don't need anymore you are trying to sell. So the pony then ended up there 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don't blame the children to play with toys before at one point they are sold. But absolutely great find from your side💯💗💗💗 That would never happen here. Black versions of Barbie were not sold here. This year has been really dry for me in terms of fles markets. No Barbies at all. So I don't have high hopes as long as the weather is still cold and bad 😝

@@LauSkypainter oh okay yeah that makes more sense. I forgot the second video was more garage sale type of sales. So yeah vary different scenarios. I never thought I'd find her. As far for Barbies it's been on the dryer side. One or two here and there. It's so weird because I always wanted the black barbie mermaid. She just looks so beautiful in the gold and her makeup. Stunning. I live in the middle of California, so there is more a chance to finding the dolls of different races. I've been seeing a couple of people buying all the dolls in huge bags full. Might need to start waking up earlier 😩 hope the weather improves but I'm sending you good vibes either way.
