In Berlin ist ja irgendwie immer Flohmarkt Zeit 😂 aber im Winter ist halt weniger los und ich komme etwas frustriert manchmal zurück 🙈 Aber ab April haben die meisten dann wieder offen 🥳💯 Danke dir ❤❤❤ Ja, die Glücksbärchis waren echt ein Highlight 👌 80er Bärchi Sachen finde ich fast nie normalerweise.

You look so pretty, wow! 😍 Love the outfit, a fashion queen! 😊 Oh, and about teresa's outfit, I am almost certain there is no such fake outfit that looks so good as the mermaid one, so I would say it's 99% original. Fun fact, there are a couple of variations of this outfit, not all bras look the same, but the middle part can become very crinkly if played with, in time. It's basically a holographic plastic sheet that they've sewn to the metallic fabric. But yeah, that looks legit. You just miss the lower tail part and you will have her complete. I have her too and mine needed a reroot but I gave her one and now she's one of my fav dolls. Awesome video as always, anyways! ❤

Thank you😊💗 Yes, the All American dolls and some of the fashion packs as well had these socks. But Ski Fun Barbie had very similar ones. They were a little thicker I believe and maybe pre-ruffled? Maybe these were legwarmers instead of socks. But they are similar enough for me to stay on my Ski Fun Barbie for now😉 I would also prefer if you would call me Lau. That's how I introduce myself. Only my family and people from work are calling me Laura. No friend calls me that😉

Every time I see the Barbie and the Beat outfit I wish I had a human size version of the jacket. I’d wear it all the time. By the way, I’m pretty sure that rocking horse you came across was from a Heart Family cousins pack. The Heart Family’s extended family sure had a lot of babies at once. lol

OMG~ yes!!! This oversize jean acket type I absolutely loooove and wear myself. And with the tint of color to the denim material and yeeees, please with a Barbie patch and glow-in-the-dark!!! I would wear it all the time 🤩💜💜💜 Oh yes, there was the rocking horse again~ haha I've found this one quite often already. I like the Heart Family well enough to pick the dolls up here and there and their fashions but with furniture pieces, I totally stay away from them. Don't know where to put them 🙈 Also, too many babies 🤣🤣🤣

Love the flee market ... i remember when i was doing it with my dad... he loved figurines and action figures of all kind. I cried a lil bit when i watch flee market because he just died suddenly almost 2 months ago.. we didn't have flee market closer anymore but he did go to used shop.. dont know their name.. second hand stuffs... i want to go to germany and France...my mom is french and his brother lives in germany so... ♡ btw i love all of your videos♡

I really want to find the outfit for Barbie and the beat! I think it looks so cool, and I love the purple denim and the three layers for the skirt. 💜🩵🎉 Also, I love your nails! I love the pastel color combination of the turquoise and peach together looks so good 😊 That is so unfortunate that jewel hair mermaid Teresa had cut hair! Although I agree, she still looks very beautiful and if I saw her I would probably still pick her up as well. She is definitely on my grill list for sure! I do have a jewel hair mermaid Barbie that I got second hand a long time ago and I still have to clean her up (her hair is in a giant hairball that I have to untangle which is why I haven't cleaned her up yet, I haven't built up the courage to try and fix the hair. Lol!). But jewel hair mermaid Teresa is one of my top dolls that I don't currently own that I would like to own, and I would like to get jewel hair mermaid midge eventually as well, although she's not as high priority as Teresa necessarily. Looking forward to part 2! 🌟

Such a magical coincidence. Recently I did a huge work with my very first Barbie - ski fun 1991. My Barbie eas completely ruined - brocken neck , ruined grey hair, no earrings ( only ring), no ski pass, clothes with 'holes'. But after watching your channel I decided to re- root her completely and after almost a month of work she looks good (still thinking what to do with neck). After a huge amount of work I feel so happy and relieved that my childhood Barbie looks anazing. i am so grateful for your channel ! Lots of Love ❤

Oh yes, I remember you told me about your childhood Ski Fun Barbie before 😉💗 Wow~ you rerooted her!!!! Amazing 🤩🤩🤩 I'm happy to hear she comes along nice 😊 Do you still have her joint? The little thing that connects head and neck? If yes, that makes it easier to repair the neck. Without it you have to get a little inventive or track down another one of the little neck pegs. I'm in the middle of making a neck repair video.

@@LauSkypainter thank you so much! That was my very first Barbie from 1991. That was you and your channel that inspired me to do a restoration work ! Yes, the hair almost like it was (though a bit cooler and lighter shade cuz ski fun is more gold shade haired doll). But nevertheless with new hair on ski fun looks very good. I have noticed that ski fun is not very popular series among adult collectors. Though a whole colletion was huge barbie/ken/midge and a whole bunch of different things like ski shop, horse, different fashions with different skies, some sort of cafe with cups to do a hot chocolate. And Actually ski fun midge is very cool too. You are lucky to find ski fun in very good condition for flea market ! Btw for my ski i used my old mattel Barbie wig. As you know in 90s Mattel produced some collection of Barbie wigs with kanekalon. So in 2024 this thing helped me to re-root ski fun.

Pony comment….the Equestria doll Roseluck has a pony equivalent from the Ponymania line. She’s one of the smaller G4s. 🦄

I have done some videos already fixing doll hair. You find them in my toy restoration playlist. They are a little older but still valid. If these don't help you, go watch Barbinations videos. He does boil washes and boil perms all the time in his videos. I do the exact same thing. I will not do new doll hair tutorial videos. I hate making this kind of content. I don't enjoy it. I don't enjoy watching tutorial videos on other channels. Toy restoration is something I want to do off camera and enjoy it on my own instead of stressing about making a video about it. And as KZread is just a hobby (I don't make money with it) and not my job, I only want to focus on creating the type of videos I enjoy.

Does yours also have paper thin material that is crinkly like hell like crackle foil and feels nothing like the other Jewel Hair Mermaid materials? I have the original gold one twice and had her as a child new from box. And the materials feel completely different. No comparison. And then on top of that the wonky sewing. It's the material that makes me believe it must be a fake. Is yours like this as well? Do you have a comparison with the better material?

Toll 🤩💙🌛 Wenn ich mir sämtliche Illustrstionen von Bedtime Bear angucke und vor allem die beweglichen Figuren aus den 80ern (die ich sammle) dann ist er immer normales Hellblau, wie der Himmel. Nie Türkis mit so einem Grünstich. Daher hatte ich das nicht von der Plüsch Version erwartet😅

Washing the hair with boiling hot warer. Once you condtioned the hair and comed through it with room temperature water you go over to dipping it in very hot water (boiling or almost boiling). Dip in, brush, dip in brush ~ this straightens and repairs most hair fibers on doll hair. It also mostly removes curls or crimps. Just look up "boil wash doll hair" or "boil perm doll hair" and I'm sure you will find tutorials😉

Lau, about Ski fun socks. These socks belong to kira all american. But ski fun has socks from the same material and with the same colors but they are more "ruffled" styled (if it makes sense). I want to .buy kira all american and just noticed that she has these socks

Yes, I sometimes also watch his videos 😊 but we don't know each other personally. And we are quite different as collectors I think easpecially since he really is a true doll collector and I'm more of a vintage toy collector. And he lives at the other side of Germany~ haha But who knows 😉

Btw I have the same "blue" mermaid and I have to say that yours from flea market in super good condition whereas mine are from my childhood in bad condition (hair and bites on her fingers) and Now I am angry at myself - what the heck I did with my original 90s Barbie?! ( but time has come - I am trying to fix them all ))
