Parkitect: Taste of Adventure (Part 1) - Yucatán Ridge

Ойындар

With the main game's campaign completed, it's time to tackle the Taste of Adventure DLC campaign scenarios. All maps were made by me - with gameplay tweaks and QA by Sebastian & Garret.
Yucatán Ridge is a ruinous map based on old Mayan temple grounds, to be converted into a thriving theme park by yours truly. One major challenge remains however - no terraforming of any kind is allowed in the already very cramped space.
Get the Taste of Adventure DLC or see what it includes here (I swear, this isn't paid promotion - I just wholeheartedly recommend it):

"It's over, Ferris Wheel. I have the high ground." Super excited to see you use all this fancy new stuff in parkitect and turn it into ridiculously beautiful theming! Btw, you refer to this region/architecture as "South American", but Mexico is definitely still on the North American continent and this region is generally called Central America :P

Love how this one turned out, and especially as someone whose childhood and still closest park is Silver Dollar City, it’s super exciting to see inverted spinning coasters in-game! Time Traveler’s pretty much exclusively a giant knot, with the car spinning the moment it leaves the station and only stopping on the launches. Love how yours turned out!

Super impressed you managed to fit in that mine train - I also put a mine train at the top of that hill and it came out looking way worse for wear. I'd ditch that weird lattice for the zero-G roll though - it's distracting from your mine train station weenie! Most zero-G rolls have two principle supports on either side of the inversion, though you're not gonna make something that nice looking without mods. Whenever I see floating track pieces, I usually just suspend my disbelief if I'm playing vanilla.

Dive Loop + Immelmann. I remeber them that way. When you‘re upside down first and you dive into a half loop then its a dive loop. Because you sorta dive into it really like diving into the ocean or so. And the other one is always an Immelmann 🤷🏻‍♂️😅

Some would argue it’s Central America, but frankly determining geographic distinctions really comes down to opinion of the best way to organize regions. Basically doesn’t matter what you say, someone probably has somewhat logical grounds to disagree.

You keep mentioning these microphone crackles, but for what it's worth, I've never even noticed any, at all, ever. If it happens mostly during real-time sections, I would suspect it's not a problem with the mic itself. Maybe the recording software can't always keep up while the game is running, and occasionally drops a block of recorded audio. You could try increasing buffer sizes if your recording software supports that. ALSO YAY NEW PARKITECT VIDEO! \o/

Historians and Archeologists have come to the realization that temple structures and other statues and relics from ancient times weren't just plain raw stones and metals, they actually were painted and adorned with things. It's just that the raw stone was more sturdy to survive than anything that was on top of it.
