I get as far as the peanuts. I open the peanuts, sit down to watch youtube and 4 hours later the peanuts are gone. Damn rats.

This is a really cool trap. It's a nice way to get rid of pests in your house without hurting or killing them. All you have to do is take the bucket outside and let them free. No death involved.

Knew a guy that had some sort of a mouse trap that launched the critter over 50 foot into the woods. Not sure how it worked but sounded like there was air pressure since I could hear it from my yard.

the mouse didn't drown, there was just enough water in the bucket to prevent it from jumping out, as you can see, comparing the trash can/counter to the mouse, it is a rather large mouse. My guess is it is a pet which he uses for the videos. Rodents are rather clever and learn from mistakes and their environment, so the more clever they become, the more creative you'll have to get with your traps

That's either a mouse on steroids or a rat, it's huge!

How clever it's great because you don't hurt the mouse just put it out side 👍🏻

Not just outside, that's pointless, it will be back inside your house within 30 seconds. You have to release them at least 3 miles away.

Use a metal garbage can and instead of water use gasoline. Do it repeatedly until you have more than 4 in the can if they don't die for swallowing gasoline either way it'll be easier to kill them. Just fire with it. ;)
