Welcome to LOKAL Rooms, Karachi's coolest new budget hotel with modern vibes in a charming setting. This new-concept property is bringing a new business model to Pakistan, renovating a set number of rooms in existing hotels with a minimalist, attractive decor so that no matter what city you're in at LOKAL Rooms you'll feel at home. They keep their prices down and offer room service (which many budget hotels don't offer). I spent almost a week at LOKAL Rooms Karachi and would recommend it to anyone on a budget, I slept like a baby all week!

I find foreign tourists including expat Pakistani discover unbelievably great places which locals living there for 20 years have no idea about , so travellers with vlogs provide great info .

Born and grew up in Karachi. But never knew about LOKAL. Where is it located?
I’m surprised to see this place in my city. This prove that Government of Pakistan working hard to promote tourism in the country. Love to see you are enjoying your stay in Karachi.

Hey Farrukh, it’s a fab place but government has nothing to do with this. Their business model is new and not very flexible and truly an experiment …. I would be surprised after speaking to their exec tram if they had outside support

I am Pakistani living in kinda north (not exactly but compare to Karachi) but never been in Karachi. Well it's good to know about this facility to let other friends and family members know about it. Thanks for sharing. It looks good standard and cleaned which reminds me motels in western countries.

So nice of you - yes, it's a fab budget property. Since I began as a food blogger in 2011 and have reviewed Michelin star restaurants, I have a hard time with the food at budget places normally ... so the foodpanda ordering was PERFECT for me. There are a bunch of high end restaurants nearby that allow for ordering and delivery. Loved it!

Yes, it is short but it was one bedroom, bathroom and exterior shots + room service ... no restaurant or spa or facilities so it's hard to make long videos without having things to shoot :-)

Sorry, since 2011 when I started as a luxury travel blogger I've never included prices. Prices vary too much from high/low season or if you book direct or with a 3rd party website. I hate to disappoint people but that will never be on my channel :-(

@@abubakarshabbir9662 SUMMARY: Since I have a luxury travel channel, started with 5-star suites at Taj properties as a reviewer, and since then normally review brands like The Ritz-Carlton and Four Seasons in Asia (and hotels like that) ... the general rule is "if you have to ask you can't afford it" -- THAT IS WHY I HAVE NEVER INCLUDED PRICES SINCE I STARTED IN 2011.
