I born here & didn't knew this unbelievable hotel service here in Karachi. Your expressing style is impressive & this one is really a great video which inspired me a lot. Keep traveling, enjoy every moment & dreams.
I don't know if you are aware that former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Jr used to frequently visit this night club before he became Prime Minister. I used to live 3 blocks from this hotel. At night I could hear the sound of the band playing at this night club. Just a little history.

Can't wait to see it, I am from Lahore always struggle to find decent hotel in Karachi when go there. Base hotel price in Lahore starts from $20 if its clean save and in nice location but Karachi is little bit more. And luxury hotels can go up to $135 per night.

Yeah I never put prices in my videos so just check their website but I think they roughly start around $35 if I remember correctly.

I was having a very nice lunch at the attached restaurant to this hotel, Karachi Brasserie, last October, which was a relief from the heat outside on the street. When I told them that I was staying at the Hotel Pearl Inn around the corner, they kindly let me see some of the rooms of the Excelsior which were very nice and quiet, better than the Pearl Inn. So, yes, I can recommend this hotel and the restaurant, and would stay here if I returned to Karachi again.
Your vlogs are updating me about the city / country I was born and it is just so amazing & satisfying to view this new & improved landscape after spending 30 years in US. Shukrya.

Hi Angela, Most of your videos contain information about tourist sites and archeology. You should also visit Thar Dessert and Cholistan . Sindh culture is a part of Sindh's 6,000 years old Indus civilization.

I've done all that. Been to Cholistan as the first person to shoot a sunrise timelapse in front of the fort. I spent 1 week in posh tents of the famous rally racer Nadir Magsi for the Cholistan Desert Rally. Shot a video of Sindhi Cultural Day from Sukkur. Been to several UNESCO sites ... please check my channel :-)

Average 7,000 PKR
We should try this hotel on our next trip to Karachi. On last visit, we stayed in Ramada Plaza By Wyndham Karachi Airport Hotel which is unnecessary over rated and bit expensive along with poor service 😕

Yes I tried for MONTH (like 7 MONTHS!!!!!) to get them to schedule my video shoot at their properties. Once we agreed on all the fine points of video/expectations, they just stopped messaged me, was so strange. For Ramada, I'm curious why their prices are so high as they are more expensive than most any other Ramada. I highly recommend this place, great value and location and super service.
Let me tell one thing, As this Hotel was opened in 1950's You were in Room # 118 where Former Pakistani Prime Minister "Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto" stayed 🙂.
