🐥 Chickens on Pakistan Budget Bus Experience | Larkana to Karachi

🐥 When I first arrived in Pakistan in 2020, I went to review all the 5-star hotels outside of the North. Reviewing hotels was my KZread channel's niche and no one had done that yet in Pakisitan!
Islamabad Serena was my 1st review, then Marriott, then a boutique hotel in the city. From there I made my way around the country, going from city to city (mostly), reviewing the luxury and charming boutique hotels, and searching out as many UNESCO & heritage sites as possible (until I made my way into Balochistan).
On this particular day, I had checked out of a small hotel in Larkana where the day before -- NO JOKE -- I had been attacked by a mama peacock and witnessed my first goat slaughtering with my own eyes during the chef's kitchen tour at the hotel.
My next stop was Karachi and there was no easy train route (my fav way to travel!). A car & driver was very spendy! So I opted for a bus.
One of the hotel staff said that he travels weekly to Karachi and he had the perfect bus for me.
Not understanding that there are modes of transportation that blast music videos at top volume the entire time and allow chickens to be passengers, I accepted the kind staffer's help to secure my ticket.
To say it was one of the most memorable rides of my life is an understatement.
And see that basket at the end? That was full of sweet little baby chicks I'm assuming based on the cute "cheep cheeps" emanating from it 🐥🐥🐥

I went on one of those "local local" buses 1x when a couple of youtuber friends were in town and that was enough for me. It's just too hot and dusty. I'm 53 years old, not 20 and a backpacker anymore ;-) haha

@@AngelaCarson well that’s the truth of rural people as their animals are part of their life & travel. Let’s face the fact! Me take it as normal as if you are on low budget you had to compromise!

Angela what you had experienced in Pakistan is also a replica scene from an Indian Village bus too 😊

Heyyyy lovely Sunitha, hope you are amazing. I don't like to do this normally but ... that is just sadly not true. There are no "front and back" segregated sections on buses and women-only train zones like in India. Men don't grope women in Pakistan as "sport", at least in my 1.5 years I have never been. But in India, every month I was groped. My daughter had it constantly from rickshaw drivers. There are things I LOVE AND MISS WAY MORE ABOUT INDIA (like the diversity of food, "activation events", sipping cocktails and hanging out at fun events with you and your hubby for one :-) .... But I don't think the village girls in India ever reach adulthood (or early womanhood) without having been groped on public transport.

@@AngelaCarson As an Indian I apologise to you for the horrific experiences that you had to go through in India during your journey and sadly I have to agree with your point that groping is common assault and abuse that women face daily. I feel that women has to voice out and get attention of public , get the pervert punished as to bring awareness among women.

Hi Sunitha ... yeah it's like a sport :( Remember my blog I had? The most disgusting search terms would be found from guys trying to find photos and videos of girls being groped in public (because I wrote about "being groped in public" at Taj Hotel, the mall, the streets, etc) ... ewwwwww. BUT India also teaches beautiful lessons in life and I am forever grateful for the amazing good it did to team me about what is really important in life. I hadn't learned many of those lessons from Spain or USA, like I did i India :-) Big hugs to you and Hrish xoxoxoox
