I'm am scheduled for September 26th, and I am terrified, watching this wonderful lady and her knee replacement surgery is giving me hope that I can get through it. She is truly remarkable and so upbeat.

I had knee revision surgery 4 weeks ago and its night and day from the actual TKR in 2022. My flexion and ROM are pretty good. So glad you are doing well😊😊

Thanks for your update. Sounds like you started out like me with pain on pain. I am glad I watched this episode because it gives me hope. Like you, I am good at following orders. So, I'm hoping for the best. I don't have a pool, but the school 5 minutes away have classes. I will be laid up most of the fall/winter, so by spring, I will be ready to go again. We are from Michigan and we are planning to work at a resort we know well in South Dakota for the summer. Can't wait to get there and enjoy the summer. Our grandkids are getting older and headed in different directions, but they want to come out and stay in our 5th wheel with us over the summer. Have a garden with 48 regular tomatoe plants and 4 cherry tomatoes. Going to can them and hope I can stand long enough to do each batch. Want to try some salsa and spagetti sauce. We'll see.

oh yes love those tomatoes! I have quite a few as well. That is exactly what I grow them for...pizza/pasta sauce, salsa and sauce. Last year I tried a few of the Mrs Wages to make things easier and they were pretty good. This year I will be back to some of my other recipes, but will definitely stick with the Mrs Wages Med Salsa. It is so good. Hope you do alright!

Good for you!! I'm now 3 months post TKR on my right knee. No pain, and pretty close to being able to do basically what I could before, except for kneeling. I',m at 1 on extension and 135 on flexion, but I expect I'll still be doing the exercises a year from now. Love these positive reactions, and yes, do what they say, and use ice to minimize any pain issues.

Thanks for sharing this positive news with us. Its great to hear that you are pain free!.. im 2 weeks into my TKR and its tough!.. im kind of managing the pain but the lack of sleep is really bothering me. I went to have my staples removed yesterday but they couldnt be removed as my wound was still bleeding so that was a set back. Ive been told to completely rest it for a week with no flexion so im worried now that i wont get good range of flexion in it. Its different here in the UK , we dont get to a physio appointment until 4 weeks after surgery where in the US you seem to push physiotheraphy right from day 1. Im feeling better now ive watched your vlog..its very encouraging, im only 55 so ive got lots of plans for after my recovery, its something to aim for and keep me motivated. 😊

Yes I can but dr said kneeling on that knee is something I should avoid as much as possible in the future. Keep hanging in there!

I am 3 weeks into my knee replacement, and your videos have kept me going. I love watching them and seeing that you experienced the same journey as I have. It helps to hear someone at the same place in their recovery. Each person has different experiences, but the journey is the same. Thank you for your encouragement and congratulations on pain-free at 6 months.

@@deborahpaul5602 Same here, 3 weeks today since my operation. Quite pleased with my progress, had my first visit to the supermarket today for my weeks shop (husband has to take me still as I'm not driving yet). Had to ice it when I got back, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Hope you're doing well with your progress.
