You're very uplifting! I had my TKR on July 8th and I agree, PT is extremely painful. Just have to muddle thru, pretty difficult at 81yo for me, but I'll get there!!🙏🏻

It’s a journey to walk again for me, that part is done, now be nice with less pain..My TKR was 5/13 , your words help to know it gets better, now to just look on the bright side of Life.. and push on! 🐢

My knee replacement was 12/18/23. We had a really nice day last monday and I got outside for a few hours. I paid a dear price with sore quads and hamstring muscles. Ive been hurting all week. Im betting the Disney trip is gonna cause some sore mucles.

When I was doing therapy, I really benefitted from the “total gym” machine where you lay down on an inclined table on rollers allowing gravity to force a few extra degrees of flexion to my knees. Since I do bee rescues, sometimes under home crawl spaces, I was wanting more flexion than the 120 degrees that suffices as the goal most surgeons and therapists require.

I think our surgeries were about the same date. Mine was 12/18/23. Monday will be 6 weeks PO. Thank you for your😊 videos.

I had my knee replaced 1/15/2024. Got to turn the cranks on my bike on the 27th. Took a lot of rocking back and forth before I could make a full circle. The heel slide stuff can be pretty brutal and they were kind of depressing for the first couple weeks. I saw another KZread video that talked about gently rocking in a rocking chair to help gaining range of motion. It’s worth a try. Good luck to you!👍🏻

Wow sounds like you are doing great. Yes the heal slides are rough for sure. I have my 6 week appt tomorrow with the dr to see how I am doing and am anxious to hear from him. I think I am doing good, but who knows...haha Thanks for sharing!

I'm glad you're doing good! I kept my walker out for an extra week. I have a shower that I have to take a big step to get into. I like knowing the walker is there if I need it to get out of the shower. My pain level has gone down but man, the stiffness has been bad and does hurt! Now if I could only get some energy back! Sleeping is still tough for me (also a side sleeper) Been only getting 4-5 hours.Hang in there!
