For those wondering this is a reupload to address some of the errors in the previous video in there including two skins that were missing which were Hermes Lúcio and Hades Pharah that has now been addressed. I would have wanted to fix them a lot sooner however due to me getting caught up with the New Years and rendering taking awhile that’s why it took me a day to address this.

Or they copied her conscious so they have one of the wolrds best sniper. Also horrifying to think about, you see all your friends on the enemy along side a version of you that looks like what you remember while your reflection shows a strange machine in your silloete

No, that isn’t the case what happened is that Blizzard likely ran into legal trouble with Lucasfilms (owned by Disney) regarding some of the voice lines and just the whole Starwatch event in general so they were likely forced to remove those lines which they were in Season 4 until it got removed in Season 5.

The only heroes who really mentioned the old name was Bonebreaker Doomfist which all of those have since been removed and it's unclear if that is returning heck they even outright removed the intro cutscene in the Starwatch gamemode.

@@Proto_VI yeah I'm aware, I wasn't talking about HER voicelines, only the ones where her old name (3CH-0) was mentioned. Most (probably all) of which are from the event. They re-recorded about a half of them and removed the other ones. Changed the subtitles too.

It's sad that a lot of lines don't work with the skins recently, not sure if it's a bug or done on purpose, I notice a lot both Brig skins missing a whole bunch of lines and Symmetra's Dragon skin has them removed completely since the end of OW1.

Would have been nice to hear the modified voices for the Mythical skin ones.

All of Hanso's wolf skin voice lines has the word wolf in it lol

I still don't get but I assume each mythic has a specific bit of lore behind them? If they do, would certainly be interesting. Ana in specific is the one that interests me the most.

basically every mythic and battle pass has some sort of "story" or theme tied with it. like sigmas emperor skin and the infinite empire or anas wargod skin for example, but obviously none of it is canon

I don’t know why Orisa is the only mythic skin that has the voice filter applied to everyone. Genji, Junker Queen, Ana, & Hanzo’s voice filters can’t be heard unless you’re wearing the skin yourself. They should definitely fix that.

When making the video I wanted to include the removed voice lines which when I approached Cassidy I decided to bring back the old ones but replace his former name with just Cassidy mainly out of respect for Team 4 since they completely cut ties with the individual that he was originally named after.

Some of these might have either been outright removed but I know for the Oni Genji skin you just have to be damage boosted by Mercy and of course using your ultimate. Sentai I know those lines get triggered by using Swift Strike and being on a roll.

Luckily in a future season there will be a way to get previous Mythic skins you missed out on. Which if there is a mythic skin for a season you don’t particularly like you can replace that and go towards the previous mythic skin.

@@matthewdennis2911 It will be a part of their upcoming changes for the Battle Pass and Shop which was first announced at Overwatch 2's What's Next panel for BlizzCon 2023 which we should be getting more details about it in early 2024 so could be something for either Season 9, 10 or beyond.
