Yeah, even in her opening cinematic, her loyalties don't lie with Talon. She's on a mission to remove the corruption, even _despite_ her current peers. She's self-serving, but she's shown compassion when push comes to shove.

Sombra first and foremost works for herself, she just aligns with Talon because it's the easiest way of getting what she needs done. Certainly Overwatch wouldn't put up with all her illegal activities

I always love any voicelines that subtly reference roadhogs service in the ALF definitely some of my favorite hero lore

I like how this confirms that Moira is in fact dying due to her experiments. I was wondering if it was genetic or if it was her experiments that scarred her. But based on her voice line it's probably the second one

Sombra is still the most interesting character for me in the game. She's not good, neither bad, she looks for herself, but won't necessary mess with people who's suffering. She just wants answers, to know who pulls the strings, so she can be the one in charge of the world. But why? Either to help people or... Because she wants the power she didn't had as a kid.

My favorite voiceline is the one where she wants to hack the rich to pay everyone’s rent and order them pizza. She’s just a girl who grew up poor who wants a chance to be on top and eat the rich.

I love it how Hanzo’s starting to move on as he thinks about the idea of settling down, he’s finding peace with himself 😭

I have a theory they actually will join overwatch instead of talon Ana and Hog have met she went to junker town at some point and Hog was an enforcer there I’m sure he had to deal with her and that’s probably why they have a interaction not to mention junkrat actively has wanted to be a good guy we saw so in their comic so it wouldn’t be surprising if Ana hires hog sense he’s a sorta old connection to help find soldier or even if where she is at gets attacked

Sombra has been shown to care about people. She seems to like Baptiste and Cassidy ti a certain degree, and she's flat out worried about Sigma being a slave for Talon. EDIT: With the new season 8 interactions, I can confirm that she really cares about Baptiste. Mauga wanted to hire her to find Baptiste, but she immediately refused, saying "he's bad for him in every ways"

"To reverse entropy, we must tame it" That's why I like Moira's character. She's sinister in her ways of not caring about ethics, but it all stems from a desperation to find the missing puzzle piece. When she perfects the art of decay, she'll ultimately destroy it. Hence why she is a healer.

The voice lines for Hog, I just find it so funny that he’s just misunderstood. Junker characters are just funny in general

Huh, not a whole lot of them this season. I always look forward to these. So much worldbuilding in so little lines of dialogue.

I love Moiras interactions so much...so witty and so curious to the point she even sacrifices her own body to reach her goal. It's hard to create such good characters that has P.E.R.F.E.C.T. voice actor for it!

Love Moira and Roadhog's interaction, her wanting to know what hog drinks to heal so much, but won't try it herself. As if she's saying I might be crazy to experiment on myself, but I won't drink that.

I love all of roadhogs interactions. Hes the quite guy whos way smarter than he looks and has a sense of humor

Sombra is the best character in the lore simply because she's gray. She only cares about information. It doesn't matter if she works for terrorists or helps out Overwatch (and rogues like Illari)

It’s very very interesting how the Martinses keep on getting small breadcrumbs of information regarding them. They appear in a portrait on Esperança (Claudio and Hector Martín), and in multiple dialogues between a wide variety of characters. There’s concept art of a “Diamond glass” barrier they created (which can actually be seen on the map), so it’d be interesting if either of them eventually make it into the roster. My bet is on the big guy, (I think Claudio?), since his robotic arms could be interesting to see in action.

I’ve always loved how sneering Moira sounds.

Roadhog's high ground line and his follow up of, "Used to it" actually can be contributed to him fighting in that whole Australian civil war combat. Of course the used to it can be taken as him being used to people not seeing him as a smart tactician, but I like to view him as saying he's used to fighting against high ground.

A bit surprised that hog gets so many interactions with overwatch members that make him sound like a member. Honestly hog in overwatch could probably spark some interesting lore/interactions.

my thoughts RoadHog and Moira's interaction is interesting since even she's wondering what's in his canisters. Hanzo and Sujourn's interaction is funny to me because unless the Shimada clan forgives Hanzo, he aint ever going to settle down. Soldier76 and Illari's interaction is strange since I don't think she should know about Soldiers history since he most likely doesn't have a background for her to judge him on. Soldier and Life Weaver's interaction is pretty funny because I think the Martins are VERY powerful if even Solder is saying they're all screwed if they need help.

Soldier doesn't exactly try very hard to hide what he's doing. He's something of a Martyr and almost seems to enjoy telling people "I'm the hero you all need but not the one you deserve."

Overwatch interactions aren’t fully canon. For example, Reinhardt and Lúcio have had a ton between OW1 and OW2, but in the Rio mission, they acted like they had no idea who they were. We can assume the story missions are accurate and the in-game interactions are just fun conversations between heroes.

It is fun to remind ourselves that Roadhog is actually the brains of the duo and not just the muscle. He just never gets the chance since Junkrat usually does all the talking (and explosions).

I did spot one that you don't have here, between DVa and Zenyatta. Can't remember it word for word, but Zenyatta was basically just saying "good job for being bold enough to challenge tradition, that's how new tradition is formed after all" to DVa and her reacting to it.

Considering he's often at Junkrat's side, it makes sense that Roadhog is usually the tactician

if there's one thing i like about overwatch 2 its character interactions.

Dang I didn’t know they add new voice lines each season. I heard one with sojourn and roadhog once and I never heard it before. They was talking about being tacticians and soj never thought roadhog was the type.

I first suspected Moira's time limit when I heard an interaction between her and Mercy. Mercy: I'd rather wait a century for progress than cause the harm you have! Moira: What a joy it must feel to be entitled to patience. But what I got from it was Mercy had actually figured out how to prolong her lifespan, especially sin Mei pointed out the fact Mercy doesn't seem to age...
