Definitely one of the better designs I've seen. Simple, effective. Not overbuilt. Thanks for posting this!

I have collected many of the same part you have shown. Thanks for taking the time to share, if this crazy world hasn't gone completely mad soon like it appears it is doing I think I will use some of your design and built the mill. Thanks again.

Very interesting. On the blade direction, it seems like there wouldn't be much of an issue because the blade is still pulled around but from the top side now. The way you have set it up the blade in in tension all the time on cut because it is pulled from the idler end then also on the return. This might even be better? Thanks for the update and hope you are doing well and have a good weekend.

Thanks Glenn. It can't be a real issue as I have never had a problem. I've never been much of a perfectionist I just want things to work. I have always been more about speed and quantity over quality. My son helped me increase my quality years ago, he was turned that way. I never used to care about what something looked like and never painted anything. I do a better job now thanks to his influence and enjoy the projects more for that reason.

Hello, i like your design , i was wondering how you mounted the bearing on the adjustable idle wheel. It looks like the bolts go through the square tube but then it would not slide.

I'm not sure u can pull or pus that blade?either? The tension doesn't know which wheel is on the chain.
