First Cuts On the Homemade Bandsaw Mill

I woke up this morning really excited to try my sawmill for the first time but very anxious to know if it was going to work. Myself and dot towed it up to the wood pile and made out first 5x5 post and a load of slabs for the top workshop. next week i will be milling timber all week for the greenhouse.

I'm not much of a 'handyman' type, but I find all your videos immensely engrossing and I also find your personal manner very calming and relaxing. I'm especially looking forward to seeing that handsome greenhouse finished, but there's always something interesting whatever it is. Thank you very much for all your effort in making your life accessible to us.

I think diesel engines for this use are not the issue with fossil fuel usage in the world today and nor will they ever be. We all know where the real issue with fossil fuels are. I'm sure he mentioned some veg oil getting used though....either way I think the engine is a fine choice :)

By the way: A just realized that your excavator, van and post hammer device are green too. All you have to do now is paint the tractor green. ;-) Congratulations! With a few modifications you will be even more happy with the result. That sawmill is another big project you can be very proud of, no doubt about that! I'm really grateful that we didn't have to wait to see it cutting until next weeks video release. As always: Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing.
