Overlanding DUO prepares to go SOLO (EP 56)
4x4 trails in Guatemala, maintenance on the Albatross and BIG CHANGE coming up in the expedition.
Last week we arrived in Guatemala and travelled through the country. We loved every moment of it. It was an amazing discovery and an awesome surprise.
We start the week with an invitation from Trail Rigs who bring us along one of their adventure weekend with an amazing group of Guatemalans travellers. We then travel in the west of the country between Antigua and the lake Atitlan, to relax bit and take time to plan what's coming up next. Yes because things are going to change a lot for the next two weeks and for that we need to prepare a bit.
We think that will be an amazing two weeks and we hope you enjoy as much as we do!

I've been enjoying following your travels around the world in your trusty Land Rover Defender. Your videos and stories have been truly inspiring and it's been amazing to see all the incredible places you've been able to visit. I admire your sense of adventure and your willingness to explore new and unfamiliar territories. It takes a lot of courage to leave behind the comforts of home and set out on a journey like this, but I have no doubt that the experiences and memories you're making will be worth it. Another educational video. I'm surprised you were left alone in Guatemala but it looks like you made some friends and Tom is there now. So I guess it's not so bad. What are the temperatures like during the day how hot is it? Great job thanks for showing us.

Hey Jeff! Thank you! After 11 months together it was a decision for both of us, nick loves riding bicycles Mathilde loves travelling on her own so it was a good mix! The temperatures vary a lot in Guatemala. Most of the time we are in the mountains and the day is about 25 degrees, 30 if very sunny, and night can get chilly. But at the sea it is much more than this.
