If you mean the lug that I put on the ground wire its stamped 12 to 14 .

I have black yellow and Uncoated wires. Is the yellow the ground?

I think the Yellow wire would be the neutral wire and the uncoated wire would be ground.

Was that a 1/2” or 3/4” gromet?

3/4-inch Gromet.

The wire with the ridge should be white neutral and smooth should be black hot?

The one with the ridge is your black wire. The smooth is your neutral wire.

@@jhouse7348 No apologies needed, I was told by the person at the hardware store that's how they tell the black wire from the white. Maybe different wire companies may have it reversed.
