Good evening all, good to be here with all our gang, just came from several reviews with Pucky’s injured face and arm, and all the cat fights that day, hoping AM has a easier day for us.😵‍💫 PS. 15:20 that is one sticky baby. ✋ AM do you think the constant feeding going on with high simple carbs will end in grief? They never seem to forage much, just meet at the sidewalk and wait. Teach a baby about sugar and they will eat it all their lives, it is in the milk too, Monkey Hill is an amazing place, the aliens will want to see them when they get here. Joking. We can not allow this place to get messed up or humanize the monkeys.😳🐒🎥💫 thanks for the “ the greatest documentaries on earth” that one can love over and over.🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇❤️

@Beautiful skies human foods ruin these animals. Just look at the monkeys of Angkor Wat in Cambodia. They’re ill behaved, abusive to their babies and aggressive with humans. We all know how addictive sugar is and we’re self aware with more self control than these animals have. Not only does their behavior change, but their numbers increase too!

@@Emzzz78 also the stress of everyday the Vo's cause, messing with them. There the cortisol must be very high. The Vo's also trade babies and put them and not their mom's in an area away from the other mom. They pick moms that want take another baby that isn't theirs. A woman that lived there in Cambodia posted about this that witnessed what they did. She showed pictures of how they put food close to the road , in the road and across the road so monkey's got ran over. These people are wicked people. There is good people there, but not these men. There is an old lady and a woman that is part of this group also most of the wifes. They view the monkey's as a mouse or rat. That makes it ok to abuse them. Sick demon people, that treats any animal this way. Diabetes also.

When I first started watching Arroz’s videos a few years ago I couldn’t understand how he could possibly tell each one of the monkeys apart. Now, I think I can recognize nearly all of them myself, and their individuality in physical features and personality seem unmistakably distinct. Arroz’s videos have allowed us to thoughtfully see true monkey behavior and troop dynamics in a way in which even National Geographic has yet to show.

It’s amazing more babies don’t get injured. Watching Gigi hold onto mum as she went up the tree was nerve whacking. She had just lost her grip a bit before and there she is holding on tightly and mum’s tail supporting her!

Because they are not being cornered and fed out of rank/turn by 15-20 vos who could care less what happens to them. The vos in Cambodia make situations happen and cause trouble because the views are higher on those videos, here you’re just seeing a man standing at a respectful distance filming these creatures day to day.

I love the name, and your process of naming them after watching their behavior for a bit. I may have mentioned it in the past when I've posted. I live in the states and work full time at a primate sanctuary. And we get a lot of food and snacks donated by local businesses and private donations . I would like to show you my little friends. You can tell they are accustomed to you and don't run off. You know that's genuine trust.

@@nettiepharr6204 I do. We have a section of assorted macaques that where in a medical facility that used them to test medications. And have the tattoos on their chests. Some are living out the rest of their days in a loving and safe environment. But unfortunately some of them don't do as well. But at least we offered them the opportunity to know some semblance of love before they passed away. It just makes you want to wring the necks of the people who subjected them to that type of life.

It was so cute when Krissy was reaching out with her foot and toes to just touch Daphne. She was looking away like I am not doing it on purpose. And Dorty doesn't trust her mother with her baby at all just now. Good.

@@kkossor3046 Starvation and disease are the result when the animal population exceed the environment to provide for them naturally. These animals hang out by the road and depend on handouts from humans to survive. It’s a very unhealthy situation for the macaques. We have seen deaths due to road accidents already. These animals need to learn/relearn to forage or they are going to be in terrible trouble when Covid subsides and things return to normal. I love seeing the cute little babies but when too many are born all eventually suffer longterm.

@@loristone8860 No way! Really?!? I had no idea! Sarcasm over. Lori, I’m not a newbie. I know car accidents CAN happen. You’ve “seen”deaths due to car accidents? Here in Hong Kong? I haven’t heard of any deaths here. The drivers are aware of the monkey population and they drive slower. But I’m sure there have been injuries or accidents. And with the eating situation, when the extra handouts end, they will return to foraging. They’re not going to starve themselves to death. When they are hungry, they’ll eat what’s available . The whole Registered Feeders program began because their environment couldn’t support the population. And I’m sure that’s even more true now. I know *WHY* they feel the need to sterilize but I don’t like that they do it. It’s my opinion. That’s all. Have a good night now. :)

@@kkossor3046 I’m am not trying to provoke an argument but there has been at least 2 deaths by automobile that Arroz has mentioned in the last year. Both by babies less than a year old. How many more disappearances of juveniles & babies have been caused by accidents. Too many I fear. He has also mentioned the car deaths in Cambodia caused by feeding them along side the road. It’s just not a safe practice. You are absolutely right that the registered feeders program was initiated to feed the monkeys when their population outstripped the food supply. Unfortunately things have swung once again in the reverse and there are signs up saying to NOT feed the macaques and the sterilization program was started. What would be fantastic and best for the macaques is for the population to stabilize to the point that human intervention wasn’t necessary and then females won’t be left with unfulfilled maternal instincts. Isn’t that a worthwhile goal to work toward?

Spunky n Bessy are beautiful monkey moms they looks so cute with their babies ! I think it’s funny when they look into the camera like their actually checking us out even though it’s only their reflection they see 😆

That is the "NEWEST ABANDONED BABY PET MONKEY" they are abandoning them on an average of 4 or 5 a week. They seem to have an endless supply of Abandoned Baby Pet Monkeys. Infuriating. Poor babies. Three from the group they call Sovanna's group have already gone to a facility for medical treatment due to injuries. There are no adults in the group but there are adults from the troop whose territory they are nearby/within the borders of drop by periodically. It is a group of dumped pet monkeys. They are trying to make their own troop but the babies don't know how to be full time monkeys.

They normally don't I haven't seen an adult fall so far. But I have heard they happen frequently in Angkor leading to the deaths of several adults since 2019. The monkeys have somehow been unlearning their innate skills since 2018.

I actually commented once that if they wanted to make videos that were real and ones that the viewers would like and learn from they should look up your videos. @@elinabello19 Dorty had a little boy..Beanie..it was her first baby and her mom Dorothy took Beanie and wouldn't give him back and we think in a tussle he fell from a tree and died..but unfortunately its happened again as Dorothy has again taken Dortys baby Daphny and hasn't given her back to her poor momma..every time we see Dorty now she hasn't got little Daphny..also Grandee the Alpha of our gang got pushed out by the Alpha females sons Barney and Barry..but the troop split as Grandee was well loved and a lot of the ladies and babies stuck with him. .after about 6weeks Grandee was accepted back and the whole troop was together again. .Arroz doesn't think he is Alpha but he still has his last followers so a lot of the babies this yr are his..Barney and Barry are bloody useless..at the sign of trouble they run..they're just bullies..

@@elinabello19 yes I think its because Dorothy has not had a baby of her own for a few yrs and her daughter Dorty only had her first baby last yr as i said poor Beanie.. it is very rare for a grandma to steal her daughters baby. The weirdest thing is that she has produced milk so little Daphny is able to have milk as she is too young for pure solids.. Dorty is a gentle soul and won't cross her mom.. the females have a need to have babies..there are kidnappers who when the babies are old enough to wander on their own will pinch them..but this is mainly by females that have been caught by the sterilisation cage..you might see a massive cage at some point and usually every few yrs the government put food in and catch monkeys.
