The butter artisan is very proud of his work. Food has a way of bringing people together. Life is celebrated with food, death is memorialized with food, and every experience in between is brought together with the tastes, smells, and experiences of food. It's nice to see someone so passionate about what they do.

Yeah!!! Definitely! He was a character! I was surprised while watching that one! I'm super into fitness and have developed a bit of an irrational fear of butter touching my skin/bare hands, while making food for others and having to handle it. As ridiculous as it is; I fear the extremely greasy fat will absorb through my skin and make gain weight/cause the calories to absorb through my skin-This while having the highest knowledge in kinesiology/nutritional science. I still cannot escape the *irrational fear* 😂 - watching this was helpful for that!

The head butter artisan is such a wonderful, passionate soul. I've seen that clip a few times in various videos and always find him so refreshing.

I worked as an artisan baker for years and with flour it changes all the time depending on time of the year for moisture content but i never thought about it being the same with butter and i used a lot of butter for croisants and sweets lol butter master opened my eyes.

I love the passion the Butter Makers have for what they do!

Echoing what others have said, I absolutely LOVE the butter artisan. I wish I could meet him in person. He’s charming and delightful, and an absolute rizz master too. I love his playful personality and his general demeanor. Absolute A1 content, Insider.

The butter man is absolutely fantastic and the interviewer was brilliant too, you could physically see how much each of them loved there jobs. Both completely different yet united in their love for their work. The butter man made for a really enjoyable watch because of how joyous he was in his heritage and craftsmanship. I really wish him well, he's superb!

don't be discouraged by the long run, watch it over few days. totally worth it. Fascinating!

That butter man is gold! He's silly and adorable and truly LOVES his butter.

As a mechanic. The engineers need to work harder on not making the most problematic parts on cars the hardest to deal with. Needed 8 hours of labor (at the time $100 per hour in 2019) to change a $5 dollar part that if wasn’t replaced the vehicle would not work properly.

I love the butter boss dude saying he would rather have nothing than to replace all of his employees with machines. He said it would make more money, but mean nothing. That is a good man to have as a boss, someone who says no to the money and says yes to how having people working makes each day special and great.

What I like most about the butter guy is how he seems to treat his employees. He clearly values them and treats them with respect. It was cool that he referred to all them as his mates. Not something you see very often

I found the section on cork amazing. I never knew cork was sheared from the trees as fleece is from a sheep.

Same here, I love the butter guy but it seems like he overshadowed everyone else.

The people taking apart jet engines down to the individual pieces and inspecting everything takes a certain type of personality and patience.

The "butter boss" is literally an amazing gentleman. He is praising the skill and dedication of his employee, to a level that shows both his and Eric's skills and abilities. They are both the kind of people that we should strive to emulate no matter our place or position in a company without regard to the sector or line of business that we belong to.

I think for a lot of us, one of the best parts of the rebuild is the relationship you have with your father. I’m sure with separated parents it has been beyond difficult but seeing how you manage that relationship while keeping the energy up that you have… that’s what differentiates yourself from other channels. Great documentary, there are so many things going on around us to make our lives livable that we never think twice about. All these different industries working hard in their own field of expertise that we just take for granted. I remember when I was younger, travelling around picking fruit, and until I'd done this very hard and tiring work, I'd never thought once about how the fruit and vegetables got to the supermarket. Hopefully these specialized family businesses will whether the economic storm brewing over Europe atm. Their governments are hopefully helping these small family businesses with subsidies to help with extra costs of material's, produce and energy, otherwise once they're gone, they'll be lost forever. All I can think about, is travelling to France and not being able to locate a local small family bakery. That would kill France.

The butter guy had old timer enjoying and showing his passion in the typical Frenchman way rizz. The top tier rizz indeed.

I was a deckhand on private yachts for years. I can tell you for under $85,000 you can get a pretty nice, under 100' yacht, an under 60' catamaran or under 65' sailing yacht that can carry you and probably about 4 or 6 other guests. 10 would be the max usually on a yacht that small. You would still need to pay for food, fuel, berthing and a tip, but you get a full week, water toys like jet skis, sea bobs, jet surfs, paddle boards, kayaks, fishing etc. You get a stewardess or 2, a private chef and usually a deckhand plus the captain. You get high class meals made specifically for you and the whole crew is dedicated to fulfilling your wishes. They can even make the main salon a casino if you want. They'll watch your kids too. You'll get a room with the finest sheets, duvets, pillows and comforters available. You don't have some obnoxious jerk from New Yawk or Bahstin telling you in drunken slur how great their city is. The only kids on board are yours. Way better than any cruise ship. If I had the money for the suite, I would take the yacht. Plus, you can find great charters for less and if you invite another family or couples and split everything, obviously it's cheaper. Amd unlike Below Deck, the crews are super professional and deliver 7 star service.

I wish more people understood the beautiful & very REAL energy products absorb when worked on by artisans (as the butter).

Plus, the devastation to the environment digging up the precious metals for EV and everything else 'green' is far worse for our survival as a species than any fossil fuel induced climate change could ever be It's pushed by elites flying from summit to summit hatching plans to continue their control on the global south and of their own populations. Did you notice the EU has placed tariffs on Brazil over their soyabeans being produced on reclaimed forested land? As if Europe didn't cut any trees down over their history. Europe has overfished their waters to the state of no return, and now their massive fishing factories are caught illegally in Asian waters. Green Peace is out there trying to help these smaller island nations who are no match for European fishing ships. Did you know the 'green footprint' 'meaure your green footprint' or however it's advertised in your country was the brainchild of the fossil fuel industry? Do we see any of them concerned about the massive fuel tankers continually moving fuel around the world or their private jets and fancy cars?

As a car crash victim, I cannot help but wonder what the accident reconstruction would look like if the cars we drive were made of clay too.

We must never forget that it is through our actions, words, and thoughts that we have a choice.

I havent thought of clay models in years but that was my sunday chore when i was growing up. My dad worked in the auto industry and this is what he had me doing while he was running around the shop. So they keep the clay in the ovens with drawers and you can do it barehand but most people were gloves. The old school guys say barehand gives them a better feel to what theyre doing. The cars are basically metal skeletons with pegs all over and that indicates how much clay to use, but yeah, it has a really unique smell, kind of sweet. Thanks for the fond memories that were not so fond at the time lol.

Id love to work in the french butter workshop/ factory if Mr. Jean-Yves is there. What an awesome atmosphere he creates! Im.sure his products are delicious as well 😋

The seaweed butter is a brilliant idea. He’s a master chief for sure , he imagines food. Not everyone can imagine how flavors go together best.

These are really cool. The deep sea mining really peaks my interest, for a multitude of reasons. I do agree deep sea mining is definitely an avenue that should be explored. The thing most people don’t realize is there is no single “magic bullet” to fix the global warming and climate issues we are facing. It’s going to take a massive diversified effort from ever person, country, governing body, and company that n the planet to make a difference. Both the Smithsonian clips were awesome.

I have an idea for car designers. They have hands-free controls on the steering wheel for your radio and cruise control why not for heater and air conditioning and fan setting... The reason why I ask is I'm disabled and I drive with one hand and it's hard for me to reach over with my left hand to adjust the settings from the middle council. So why hasn't nobody thought of the idea of putting climate-controlled somewhere on the steering?

the main reason would be if the passenger wanted to control the conditioning, it being in the centre console allows for both parties to easily use it. While it's not impossible, the steering wheel is often reserved for immediate controls. 99% of companies rule the air con out of being worthy of steering wheel space, and its the tragic reality that designs just don't accommodate disabilities properly. As another comment said, voice command would be your best bet, or potentially a mod to route the electronic controls to the driver door next to the window controls. None of these options are great though.

Butter man is adorable, find yourself someone who loves you as much as he loves his butter and you're sorted for life.

Also, that clay is NOT like Play-Doh, it is more like Sculpey and is a non-drying polymer clay, so you can just keep working and re-working it. Except in this case, it isn't a bake to set kind of thing, as it is never fully cured, but simply allowed to harden. Once the necessary scans have been taken off the clay model, it will eventually be broken back down and the clay salvaged for reuse.
