Orbital Guitars. Is the name in honour of your heroic efforts working that ROS on the horns of that instrument? Nice work on that bass.

Que bonito trabajo, a los niños se les debe inculcar el amor por la musica desde su nacimiento, y así se forman ciudadanos decentes y productivos.

Beautiful work, absolutely mesmerizing watching you go through step by step. One thought I had was that you did all the fretwork before cutting the back of the neck; have you ever found necks to move after being shaped, and needing the fretwork redone? Thank you for sharing your work!!!

I have never had to redo fretwork after shaping a neck, though I have seen necks gain a slight backbow after putting the frets in. Usually I find that multilaminate necks don't tend to have much movement when they are shaped.

This bass looks great. I just hope that the smell when you were working the zebra wood was not as bad as the smell was when I used some to make a native American style wooden flute. Just suffice to say it was not pretty.

Unfortunately, Zebrawood always has that smell

@DEA-I-H FVCK DES-I-ROYER The simplest way to describe it is to say that it's like wet dog smell, but stronger

GREAT work! Could you tell me please where I can source some Zebrawood like yours for some trim work on my boat. Thank you very much, Ray.
