    The fret board has some fantastic grain pattern in it. I also like your logo design a lot. The Bass turned out very nice and has a great sound as well.

    Very nice bass, original yet simple and logical shape. Very nice woods and build. To my taste the head is a little too short

    Hello, thank you for al the videos :) Could you please explain why the fret cutting is done before the inlay work?

    When the inlays are also made of wood, it shouldn't make a difference whether you cut the frets or do the inlay first. I just like to cut the frets first because it helps me position the inlays where I want them.

    beautiful work. curious if you used templates to get the frettboard and neck radii to specific shape or did you "eyeball" them?

    The fretboard was shaped with a 12 inch radius block. No template for the neck.

    Can this be made as a six string fretless? Or, 7 string fretless, tuned C to Low F#?

    It does. I've thought about carving a bunch more material off the back to try and reduce the weight.
