Make double bass smaller. Full build(Guitar Making ASMR)

Музыка

Do you know what an electric upright bass is?
Double basses are so big, they're hard to carry around! The raw sound is too loud!
etc... Upright basses were born because of these reasons.
Famous examples include YAMAHA's SLB and the Landscape electric upright bass.
The difference between the upright bass and the SLB is obvious when you listen to it. Please watch and listen to the whole video.
Of course, listen to it with a good audio system.
I don't think your phone you have now will be able to understand anything.
Please wear good headphones or do your own thing.
I created the third model in the form of a normal evolution from the second original bass model.
The evolution includes the ability to play with a bow (double bass on the fingerboard R) and the modernization of the piezo pickups.
The double bass fingerboard R is a groping of a groping of a groping. When I showed it to a double bass maker, he said, "That's weird." they would say, "It's still weird. I don't think it can be helped if they say, "It is strange. I don't know what the real thing is...
But you can play all strings with a bow.
Piezo pickups have evolved greatly.
If you let it pick up the sound of the strings, it becomes the sound of the piezo.
We have devised it.
The details are a secret.
It is designed to be operated passively without a preamp.
All this is to eliminate the piezo smell.
Let's call it a mechanical preamplifier... (I am saying something appropriate)
The body and bridge are ingeniously constructed.
I thought of everything and made it myself, but I don't remember what I did...
If there is any part you don't understand, please comment. I will answer as much as possible.
It was very hard to make.
I put so much effort into making things that I lost my mental balance.
I would get up in the morning, work, work without eating, and in the evening I would go to bed because I couldn't move.
After 12 hours of sleep, I get up. I work.
Repeatedly, day after day.
It was hard.
Repairing is hard, but fighting with myself is really hard.
It's not anyone's fault. If I had to say, it would be myself.
I may look like I am working happily.
That is an illusion. Maybe everyone is like that. (I don't know.)
I don't want to be taught by anyone, I want to be taught by anyone... but that doesn't happen.
I just think alone, create, and transmit.
That is my training.
Thank you very much.

Brilliant! The concept of an electric upright bass fascinates me, since in most cases you'd be putting an piezo mic on your acoustic upright bass anyway and plugging it in to the P.A. or a bass amp. But why do most upright basses have no design. Its just a stick with strings on. THIS on the other hand is what I'm looking for in an electric upright bass. Smaller than an acoustic upright, but still with a great design, and it sound fantastic!!!

This is an amazing concept for an Electric Bass. I would want this, but with the top/sides and maybe even back as Thin Stock Wood (rather than the bulky thick pieces used for electric instruments) so that it could be used as an Acoustic Bass with the wood actually vibrating and resonating to project the volume unplugged. How you manage to work with aluminum using a hack-saw is astounding. I spent five minutes trying to make aluminum hardware by hand and then just gave up and bought a Mini Mill from Harbor Freight...

Whats the scale on that thing? Or how do you mark out the fret markers, and how about the radius? I wanna try making one of my own.

  • @Andybassguitar

    @Andybassguitar

    Жыл бұрын

There is a website that can determine the fret position from the scale, so I use that. The radius is made by ignoring it. The difference in pitch due to changes in string height has a greater impact. I think it is just a guideline for contrabass.

Also its truly inspiring to see such amount of detail, in my opinion all that metal is an added cost normal people cant afford. People are looking for cheap alternatives nowdays. Also the body of the guitar need to be more like a womans curves, and not waves. Cheers.
