Found an old medal of my great GREAT grandfather that had something to do with the orangemen along with a knights of Pythias medal and modern woodmen of America one so now I find myself going down this historical rabbit hole of groups i never knew about (I’m Canadian so hopefully that explains why I know nothing haha) 🤷‍♂️

There are orange lodges in Canada, if you contact them they might have some information on your relative. I know they have a parade in Toronto every year to commemorate the battle of the boyne. 👍

No. Freemasonry has been around since the 14th century and is primarily involved in charity. The orange order came along about 300 years later and is generally a vehicle to promote sectarianism. They copied some traits of Freemasonry to give themselves the appearance of respectability

It was started by Freemasons, they have degrees like masons, they have “riding the goat” like masons, they are satanic like masons. So yes it’s freemasonry but 100x more anti Christs church (Roman Catholic Church)

Similar. Both hate Catholics. Masons extend that to Jews and Black folk. Ive been hated because of my Catholicism.

The Orangemen sent a Lambeg drummer and an armed "B" special paramilitary police man as escort to each and every Catholic house in the area. They beat their drum and shouted abuse while the families hid in fear. They would not dare to do it today, but I remember.

@@sodabake I remember a murder gang trying to cosh me and put me into the boot of their car. I remember the police catching them after a chase, then letting them go. I remember a lot of other things.

@@mrsillywalk I'm remember getting physically assaulted at least 10 times for being " a hun" ,I remember the police didn't want to know everytime. Their was secertain crime almost daily round my neck, you really didn't get it that bad if that's all happened to you in 30 years, people lost children

@@sodabake As I said, there were a lot of other things. Just some stick out more in my memory than others. My poor mother when the army raided our house because it was on a list from the RUC of all the catholic houses in the area. The shame of one army captain who knew he was doing wrong but continued to do it.

Not long now and their remnants will be flushed into the North Atlantic back to wherever they came from. Tá ár lá beagnach tagaithe.
