Deployed on five aircraft carriers, then 10 years after retiring, went on an Alaska Cruise just to get it out of my system. It was nice having my own stateroom with a head, All the adult beverages one could consume, underway. Then all the other stuff you can do aboard a civilian cruise ship. Thank you for your service Cory and hope you had a good time.

Cory I too was in the Navy and I refuse to get on one of those boats. The difference in this and a Navy ship is, On a Navy ship the Captain won't abandon you if trouble comes up.

Yes a Fos 10 day Princess cruise out of San Francisco under the Golden Gate Bridge to Alaska , we have done it 5 times already will continue to do more best cruise ever

Fos crew, we just got back from a 10-day Mediterranean cruise with 8 port stops. A trip of a lifetime but we plan to do another on the other side of the Med in 2026. If you do this cruise you need to prepare to do lots of walking. We calculated around 80 miles walked with our day in Rome stating things off with over 22,000 steps. We went to Mykonos, Santorini, Athens, Olympia, Malta, Sicily, Naples, Florence/Pisa just a fantastic trip. Cruising is so fun. Glad you guys finally got to do your first cruise. Hope it leads to more.

Hey guys! I know its last minute, on May 18th it's "Go Topless Day", a national Jeep Charity Event in which we raise money for various charities. I know you guy are going to be on the west coast of Florida (not sure how long) but we will be camping on May 18th (Saturday) to the 19th (Sunday) at Lazy Springs Off Road Park on SR-82 in the Fort Myers Area of Florida. There are lakes to go swimming and plenty of off-roading if you guys want to do something a little different. There will be 100's of off-road vehicles, food trucks, raffles, etc. We have room for you guys too in our jeeps. Camping is primitive. Just wanted to extend the invite since you're in the area.

West Florida is our favorite beaches in the entire country, and we have been to a lot of them. Siesta Key always tops our list, we tell everyone they have to visit at least once. 🐾🐾

My 1st cruise was on the U.S.S. Fort Sumter, (LST) out of Little Creek. A SEABEE on a ship! (I was attached to ACB-2) We did the North Atlantic in the late summer, early fall of 1978. What an experience as a 19 year old! We visited 5 different ports and didn't splash the causeway sections one time. It was a wonderful time. Haz Gray and underway!

Great video! We did get our shirts order ✅. We have gone on 2 Today is Someday Cruises, and I cannot recommend them enough. Like you said the opportunity to be together is so special. I say for your Finding crew you all should 💯 do it!

Yes, I’ve done that with my “VHS” camcorder decades ago. I was using (2) different makers. The camera was an RCA and the recorder was a Panasonic. I don’t know how or why,but the “red light” worked just the opposite. Several times 🤷‍♂️😢

Cruising on a cruise ship is nothing like a Navy cruise. We love cruising and miss it. We have done somewhere around 16-18 cruises. Ought to do a FOS and LJMJ cruise.

I’ve been on 2 cruises but its been more than 15 years. Modern cruise ships are like Las Vegas on the sea. Gambling, shows, top dining, and endless things to do. Sometimes leaving record on can result in great candid conversations. The video is often unusable but I’ve gotten great conversations.

Thought I hit record but it was really stop…I’ve done it a hundred times! Ugh so frustrating! And Jess, my husband was the SAME way about cruises because he was in the Navy. We just got back from our cruise (his first) a few weeks ago and he loved it 🥰

I can’t begin to tell you how many times I have done EXACTLY what Corey, thinking I was recording and then all the footage is my feet and the ground. 🤣🤣 And yes, definitely in for an FOS cruise! 🛳️ #sunriseandshipdecks

Spent 24 years in the Navy and was at set for 6 months and 2 week on various deployments. Had wonderful experienced but I may have miss some glorious times as sea. I especially remember going throught the Straights of Girbralter on a calm night on the further point on the USS Roosevelt. Nothing as relaxing as cruising at night on a Navy ship. Never been on a cruise ship (my wife gets terribly sea sick. Thanks for the momories. Jim Scott

We just back from St Lucia. Blue water is the best, it wasn't as blue but looks better than the water off of the coast of Carolina's. Our next trip might be to the Bahamas.

My husband and I took our first and only cruise in 2019… we LOVED everything about it! But we spoiled ourselves by taking a 9 night Mediterranean Cruise! Everyone (who is able) should do that one!!! I’d go again in a heartbeat! Cruising is awesome!

I cruised on the USS Intrepid, 67-70. Did all blue water. That cruise you were on probably had more people, we had 5,400.

Yes--I did that! My husband was demolishing a big deck at our permanent lake trailer. He pulled it all down at once with a back hoe and I totally hit stop instead of record and missed the whole thing. Wahhh.

Our first cruise several years ago was on Allure of the Seas. Fabulous cruise, terrific ship. We're now getting ready for a Holland America cruise to Alaska. I'm so excited. We want to RV there before we are too terribly old too, but first a sea/land cruise.

Yep, was at Sea world, thought I stopped recording and got 10 mins of my hairy leg. Great yuns got together.

Yall are about 40 to 50 miles from my home in Lee County. Unfortunately after Hurricane Irma I was forced to move as the home I was in was damaged by the Hurricane so now I reside in N. Georgia but Lee County will always be my childhood home. Gone are those days but life is what it is.

Cory, I spent 10 years in the Navy. 3 WESPAC’s, World Cruise and a Med Cruise. I wish I would have done the other 10 years. My wife refuses to go on a cruise, oh well. But anyways, following all your videos I know you have been through Pennsylvania. Have you ever checked out Gettysburg? When I was pulling around a 40 fifth wheel, we always stayed at a place called Drummer Boy. Keep your videos coming. 👍🏻

You are an excellent photographer. I myself would never judge you for shooting the ceiling. I would like to be half as good as your family is at videoing. Our adventure won't start till April 2026.

43 years ago Mary Jo and I went on a cruise for our honeymoon. The itinerary was to Bermuda then to Nassau. However, there was a "tender" operator strike, so we went directly to Nassau. I don't even recognize it today. The Straw Market, evidently, is gone. I read that it burned down a couple decades ago and where you are is the result of the rebuilding.

We had to suffer at a GE Aircraft Engine conference years ago at Atlantis. All the free breakfast buffets and dinner poolside was tough to suffer through. The last cruise we did was our 30th anniversary on the Oasis of the Sea.

We totally enjoy cruising (unpack once and someone else does the "driving"). We're going on our 16th later this year (coincidentally on the Allure) and have another one on the books for next year. Our home base is Florida so it's very convenient. Yet we hit the road for the summer in the very near future!! And yes, a FOS cruise would be fun!!

Would you say having a balcony on a cruise is a must??

Cocoa Kay is my favorite cruise destination. Been there twice and loved it both times. Great self guided snorkeling location. Cool big rays swimming around with you there. We saw those too - sooo cool.

We do have Thousand Trails but only the Camping Pass that is around $599 for the year and that is for one of 5 zones and then we can add another one for $69 if we end up in that area of the country. We use AllStays, Campendium and The Dyrt to fine places to stay.
