Frolic - Katina slides over, Beautiful eyes Nalani @10:42-10:50 with Trainer Holly, I missed someone, I think Malia was there too..
Side by side - Kayla and Malia, Trainer Brian had a large shamu doll for Malia. @14:04 you can see Kayla's eyes moving, locating the trainer.
Splash - Tilikum and Trua, its amazing to be just a few feet from Tilikum. As a kid I always went to SeaWorld San Antonio every summer. I’ve always loved animals and as a kid it seemed innocent enough. As I’ve gotten older and started realizing the truth I can’t see things the same. I’ve stopped going to SeaWorld and have also adapted a lifestyle as vegan as can be. These amazing creatures will never truly know the life they were supposed to have. RIP Tilikum 💗

They can't free them, No one can! You are exposing them to diseases they have not had and that can be dangerous. They wont be able to hunt as used to people hand feeding them so they will starve. They could die from cold water as they are used to heated! They will be more of a risk to people out in the wild as they will trust people if you release them and could attack children or adults. More collisions with boats as they would be coming in to see the people as thats who they trust. Its not just a case of letting them go in the water! Places have to stay open the whole point of the movie black fish was not to close seaward but to turn them into a sanctuary to keep the population alive and not to make them go extinct. Do your research before putting contradictions into a conversation!

Tyler Aullman oh i knew it was back when they didn't know any better. In this day n age they'd be severely punished for capturing those animals. That's the main reason they feel they cannot get rid of Tillikum. He's their main sperm bank and i'm sure if they were able to capture more babies like they did in the 70's and 80's they wouldn't be so desperate to keep him. Its so sickening. He'll die in there that poor thing. It's so sad, I wish they'd let him go. Have a heart Sea World.

Aw Tilly! I know it's not a perfect life, but I'm glad he's getting to do something. It's been shown many times that doing tricks for physical and mental stimulation is better than languishing doing nothing. That goes for dogs, parrots, and whales alike. At least he's getting out. I wonder if I ever saw Tilly when I went to SeaWorld Orlando years ago. If there was any animal I could have a 15 minute conversation with, it'd be Tilly, to tell him I'm sorry and we care about him a lot and all the good he's done for the world, and ask him what he wants from us in return. I just want to tell him we love him and we're sorry.

Please watch Blackfish and hear first hand from trainers who loved and worked at SeaWorld. Poor Tilkum was stolen from his mother as a baby in the wild and lives horrible existence as do they all. I believe frustration is the only reason he has killed trainers. A lot of people are debating whether or not Blackfish was a documentary or movie with payed actors - I don't think it should matter what the truth is, the fact still stands that these creatures are not free, instead they are taken away from their pods and contained in tanks for entertainment. Movie or documentary, paid actors or former trainers, animals of this beauty and intelligence should be free.

@@Tilikum16 it’s so sad Orky left us too soon. I saw the video of him jumping over the trainer that was riding the orca backwards. 14,000 lbs 😳 I’m shocked the man is still alive! I’m sure tillikum was used for his impressive size, his only son that looks most like him is Kyuqout. His son that could have surpassed him was Taku, Taku was 9,000 lbs at 13-14 years old before he died of the West Nile virus. Imagine him at 25 years old 😮 I know tillikum always came out for the splashing segments, I’ve never seen a video of him swimming side by side with another orca in the beginning of the show. I’d love to see that.

There are almost 60 whales in these parks around the world. There are about 150 documented incidents of aggression towards their trainer. This is sic.The only way to do this is build a sea water pen and get people to come see it. They feed Tilly valium to calm him down and use him as a stud for artificial insemination. There were strict rules about not getting in the water with Tilly who must be physic by now.One of Seaworlds best trainers did that and paid with her life. He ripped her arm off and her scalp and repeatedly attacked. The conditions they are kept in is barbaric yet some Russian billionaire is building a private tank in Moscow for 2 he has in a holding tank

It's not his fault. If they weren't held in such a small living space I'm sure they would be more living then they are. They get tired of being in such a small place they start getting aggravated and depressed. And it leads totaling anger out on trainers.

None of the whales at any of the parks now perform that behavior of splashing center, left and right as Tilikum does here. Am I wrong? I watch a lot of your videos and since Tilikum’s death, I’ve not seen another whale splash like that. I love it. I wish they would bring that back.

people need to stop saying "watch blackfish" to the people who aren't against seaworld. everyone is entitled to their own opinion and you can't hold that against them. it's 50/50. if you don't support seaworld then keep it to yourself because that's your opinion, it doesn't have to be everyone else's. yes, it would be wonderful to have all killer whales free in the wild but it's not like that. and it's not like seaworld tortures their animals everyday, they play with them, build relationships with them, love them, and they feed them well and they don't have to go through the trouble of hunting. we don't know what the whales are thinking so we can't judge and guess. but the trainers & seaworld take care of their whales as best as they can. and if the whales were to even be let go, they would die because their so used to their habitat now so really it's better for them to stay at seaworld. & seaworld hasnt captured a whale for over 35 years. you act like they torture them or something but they take care of them everyday to the best of their ability and we have no right to judge any side of the story.

lmao what a stupid comment of yours. Tilikum (the orca that died last year) killed several people, the last one was a trainer, in 2010. The trainers used to be in the water with them, swim with them etc, but after so many accidents and deaths they dont do that anymore. Just look at this video, the trainers aren't even getting wet, theyre just dancing like the Backstreet Boys without interaction XD they cant get close to the orcas anymore, they use whistles and fish as guidance and thats it. It's not even a matter of opinion to know whats right and wrong in this circumstance. Anyone with common sense and knowledge knows this isn't a natural habitat for WILD animals. And your point, when you said "trouble of hunting" lmfao this is how I know youre ignorant, orcas are designed to hunt just like any other wild animal, it comes naturally to them and it's not a trouble for them to get their food. Get informed, read a book. I didnt watch blackfish but this is basic information that with a quick google search can tell you, youre wrong.

Notice how all the women have their hair in buns. Seaworld is definitely afraid of a lawsuit if another incident like Dawn Brancheau's happens cause you know-she was wearing a ponytail and that's why Tilly pulled her in. You're not fooling anyone Seaworld

Beautiful Video! Seaworld saves thousands of animals each year, and money they make is put towards the conservation of their wild counterparts. If we set these animals free into the wild they will sadly die. They are used to a balanced diet, not hunting for their own food, and have been living in perfectly filtered water their entire lives. I just wish people would use their energy to focus on instead the declining population of wild killer whales in Puget Sound.

Did you know that 85% of blackfish is lies? These beautiful creatures enjoy doing these things, have you seen the footage of all the whales and dolphins? They are so happy to see the trainers. Most of the marine animals are bred in captivity. The trainers are fully aware of the dangers of there job! You see the raking on blackfish, this is actually also done in the wild, only thing that is worse is that they don't have the open sea to get away from the fight they have, there was one trainer in the film that shows he had blood pouring down his face, you do realise he dived in at a shallow area of the pool and hit his head? All the young adults that are trainers and staff, wouldn't sign up if they were going to abuse the animals!! Especially not in the society we live in today.. Sea world wouldn't have the staff and support it has if it was an animal abuse centre, you see blackfish is called a 'documentary" it's not, its designed as a biased one sided story! It's there to make you feel not to inform you of the amazing species. Rant over

Yes I think they probably do enjoy performing to a certain extent but they are wild animals and need to swim hundreds of miles a day - their pools are way too small

Alfie Back did you know that operant conditioning can result in starvation if the animals don't do what the trainers want? Also, the "smiles" you see on their faces are involuntary and is just their bone structure. Let me put you in a bathtub and withhold your favorite food from you till you do exactly as I say.
