One Ocean (Front row with Tilikum) Aug.13, 2015 - SeaWorld Orlando

DO NOT USE MY VIDEOS!!! YOU WILL BE REPORTED!!!
330pm show
One Song - Kayla Group, Kayla with Tanner, Trua with Nick and Malia with Michelle, i had to watch it several times as the only whale i was sure of was Trua, with freckles.
Frolic - Katina Group, Katina with Kristin, Nalani with Stacey, Makaio with Joe(Short appearance).
Side by side - Katina Group again, Katina, Nalani and Makaio. nice closeups of Katina's eyes at slideout as it moves to see what the trainers are doing ...Katina and Nalani kiss at the end.
Splash - Tilikum with Joe and Trua. i like Trainers like Joe as he asks Tilikum to do a variety of behaviors, like that bow, looked difficult as he is lifting 12 thousand pounds up in the air, amazing tilikum, being a few feet away from him, just amazing.
We're One - Fab 5 with their respective trainers, Katina, Kayla, Nalani, Malia and Makaio.

These Orcas are so beautiful. My heart melts. They didn’t ask to be captive but they are and I believe most of the trainers love them very much. How could they not? I believe the trainers are caring for these animals the best they can.

JeMaRi when you are able to see one of these beautiful beings feet away from you, that's a memory some of those kids would never have. I saw Tilikum in the 90s, it was very amazing as a child and I remember kids being there from the inner city, some of those kids were so poor, they would never have a chance to see Orcas in their natural habitat. I know all we as adults see is a trained captive, but as a kid, we were dreamers.

But why as a human do we feel like we're entitled to see the orca in the flesh? Yes, it's amazing and not something you see everyday, but we don't have to see it everyday, we're not entitled to see orcas pretending to kiss and shake their heads at the demand of a trainer. I'm from the UK, never seen an orca and although it would be an amazing memory, I'm not going to fund this type of cruelty by experiencing a "dream" for 25 minutes while these orcas live, breathe and die under the circumstances. It's not fair and everyone knows it isn't, using children's dreams as an excuse is exactly that - an excuse.

It's amazing how people speak and do not know what they are talking about. There's no sense saying anything about dawn, she lost her life doing her job. I have never personally felt the need to go to SeaWorld and pay money for something like this. These large killer whales are very intelligent -- but these people have to realize that are WILD and they are NOT meant to be kept like this. You never know how a Whale is going to react specially if they get under stress. So these type of things happening should never surprise anyone with some common sense. "It's GOING to take people standing their ground, and stop paying their hard earn money for this crazy stuff". How many more need to die in the name of Entertainment...

That other stage is called a slide out, and its not a stage. Trainers are allowed to be on there. This is Tilikum, I don't know how one can say its not.... dorsal flopped to the left, curled flukes, dots on his left eye patch, the only big male at Sea world Orlando after Kandukes death....

It's no lie that he was taken from his family at a young age, and placed with other whales who were not his community. It's true that they masturbated him to harvest his sperm! That's rape! They trained him for this with food. You perform, you eat. You don't, you go hungry. It's true that the pools in which he live are prisons, compared to the open ocean where he could have swam for many miles every day. It's true that he is responsible for the deaths of three people and that each of them are tragic, though Tili can't be blamed, given his stressful circumstances. I love seeing wildlife up close. But after learning more about whales in captivity, I will have to abstain from paying to see animals in these circumstances. It's clear that the trainers really love these whales and try their hardest to make them happy. But we've got to stop taking these intelligent, sensitive creatures out of the wild. We've got to stop breaking up their communities. It's no different that having your infant son ripped from your arms, placed with strangers, then enslaved.

She was missing and arm and was partially scalped. Her spinal cord was injured and she had multiple broken bones. Nobody seems to understand - or they won't dare explain - why Tili did this. It may have been her ponytail washed into his mouth, or he may have just snapped. It's tragic, and I don't blame this magnificent creature or Dawn, who loved him so much. These are horrible circumstances for whales. They look like they're having fun, but that's only because they don't eat unless they do what they're told.

That is completely wrong and probably taught by any PETA supporter or Blackfish. They are trained by positive reinforcement which states that they can decide if they want to perform or not the behaviors they are asked to do. There have been shows in which the orcas do not perform and the trainers explain what is happening. They are not derived from their food. Also, Tilikum needed to be in shows in order to be fit and to get exercised.

MrBadumtish your comment shows you are greatly uneducated. Everyone who knows about orcas knows one of the most basic facts. In the wild they swim up to 100 miles a day exploring, hunting and socialising while they do it. They can actually travel with speeds up to 30mph which is amazing! This tank is JUST like a bathtub for them. Don’t try to say otherwise.

GEO + YOU ARE correct!

Zoos, aquariums, and circuses are great places for the public to contact nature and teach us the importance of protecting the earth. Lots of animal rights activists failed to recognize that good institutions did lots of great things for animals, such as providing medical care, enough food, and breeding program. Lots of self claimed animal rights people only demonize those organizations, and I think it is very unfair for people working there. Lots of people working there has devoted themselves, and they do love their animals. Wild animals will die if they are sick, because no one will provide them medical care. And in lean times, lots of animals will die from dehydration and starvation. Animal rights activists failed to recognize nature is not a place free of violence. The killing in the wild is extremely excruciating for the prey. And if you had learned animal behavior, you will know some animals will kill to eliminate competition or out of hatred for other species. Elephants and African Buffaloes will kill lion cubs, because they hate them. Male lions and male tigers will kill Cubs they don't know in order to mate with females sooner. Most animals are definitely not free in the wild. They have territories, and they are confined to that place because their neighbors will fight with them if they move out. Lots of the fights are very violent and even bloody, such as the fight between large predators. Most animal rights activist portray the wild as a peaceful paradise. That is the biggest lie on earth. The jungle law will not sympathies animals in trouble. The weaker one will be bullied or even killed in the fight for survival. And nature is not free of human influence at all. Most wild places are constantly under the threat of human activities. Lots of endangered species were ruthlessly killed by poachers. Wild animals are constantly killed by local villagers in developing countries. Not only due to poaching, but also because of conflicts with human. Herbivores such as elephants were killed because they eat and stampede crops, while predators were killed because they kill livestocks and even humans. Living in the wild is not happy or safe at all. And it is very hard to survive under those threats. The theory of animal rights groups are not based on science. They are not true conservationists at all. They only exaggerate the darker side, but they failed to realize wild place is no better than the places they demonize. The true conservationists will stress the importance of protecting nature, habitat, and saving the endangered species. The efforts of animal rights activists are not on those important things to save nature. Lots of zoos and circuses actually have bred lots of endangered species, such as Asian elephants, tigers, pandas, etc. Scientifically speaking, those organizations are helping the future of animals. The animal rights activists can achieve none of that. They keep talking but they did nothing to save nature. It is a great pity that animal rights activists are demonizing institutions that not only truly help animals, and conducting research that deepening our understanding of animals and nature. Those institutions has not only entertained the public, but educated us getting more knowledge of nature and remind us the importance to value so many important things. Wake up, don't believe in fake science or illogical allegations made by radical people!

Mónica Gutiérrez In the wild, female orcas can live up to 100. In captivity (SeaWorld and other "aquariums") will live to about 30.
