Plz tell us on how many occasions you as a citizen have actually needed to clear a room in your own house? Or are you teaching something that practically never happens? Secondly, if I were clearing and actually fearing an intruder in my house, I sure as heck would not be stalking around with my finger off the trigger.

It’s the 7 P’s…Prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance. The fact that it is unlikely to happen doesn’t mean it will never happen. Preparing for any/all situations is always best because when the time does come, especially in this horrible crime ridden Biden era, you will shit the bed and fail. Secondly, anyone who has any experience with firearms knows that you always keep your finger off the trigger and outside the trigger guard until on target. It prevents costly and sometimes fatal mistakes.

@@garystritt5750 There's no more or less crime right at the moment. You are being silly. If you are preparing "for all eventualities" you could just as well anticipate never clearing a room because there is no earthly reason to. In my 69 years no room I was in ever needed clearing. If you want to militarize your life and pretend we are all just soldiers on shore leave, please continue. I've shot PSA competitions for years, and yes we are all trained in certain (finger) conventions, some of which are pretty useless.

@@grantottaviano7445 May you always hit your targets and may you kill many, many intruders without legal blowback. I mean, why retreat and wait for the police when you can be your own SWAT Team?
