Definitely one that will almost certainly never happen again. And his swing was a work of art. It just looked so completely effortless that it was almost a shock when the ball would land 15-20 rows back.

There was a 3rd Griffey, Craig, that played for them around that time, I believe. Nowadays you never have fathers and sons play at the same time, much less have them hit back to back home runs. Of all of these, that may be the most unreplicable (other than the 30-3 game, but that’s different).

@@eddyvideostar The only reason I mentioned the 30 run game is that it's only been done once since 1900, so technically it's as rare (both have only happened once), but you're right, the Griffeys' feat is truly remarkable. At the time, Sr. was 40 and Jr. was 20.

Yeah, players these days wait until their 30s to have kids. Also, teams are very reluctant to call up 19 and 20 year olds because of free agency rules.

Should have included when Gary Sanchez missed the pitch turns around and it bounced off the wall so hard he catches it and throw out the guy who tried to take third great play
I am a Reds fan. My favorite one of these is Ken Griffy & his son Ken Griffy Jr., both playing for Seattle, hit back to back home runs! Oh, and Junior's homer was hit right by the Reds logo on the wall in Seattle! 🙂
I watched 2:39 at least a dozen times WOW you know you're absorbed when your turning in your chair from left to right as this play goes on.

Cameron fielder yes, and he pulled a Todd Frazier, throwing the bat at it while hitting it on a bounce. It was cool
First the double home run then the jukes then the triple play then the strike out series then the 30-3
