Okay so: Henry's parents are Emma and Neal. His adoptive mother is Regina. His biological grandparents via Emma are Snow and Charming. His biological grandparents via Neal are Rumple and Milah. His step-great-grandmother is also Regina as she is Snow's stepmother. This makes Snow and Henry adoptive-siblings. This also makes Henry Emma's adoptive uncle. Belle is Henry's step-grandmother due to marrying Rumple. Peter Pan is Rumple's father, making him Henry's great grandfather too. Hook becomes a father figure due to dating Emma. Robin becomes a father figure due to dating Regina, therefore also making him a step-great-grandfather figure. But now I'll stop because I'm over complicating a complicated thing! Though if you did want to get more complicated you can bring in Elsa and Anna through Ingrid. Ingrid was Emma's adoptive mother, making her Henry's adoptive grandmother. Making Emma cousins with Anna and Elsa. You could also further complicate things by bringing in Robin's son Roland, who would then also have a brotherly relationship with Henry. I'd also like to add that Hook had a relationship with Milah, Neal's mother. Hook also looked after Neal when he was a boy/teenager, making him a father figure to Neal. And now Emma and Hook are in a relationship, so he's sort of dating his son's girlfriend, and also brings up the possibility of him being an adoptive-grandfather to Henry..... Just thought I'd throw that in there.

+Evania Endellion Actually Hook isn't a possibility of him being Henry's step grandfather. Hook never married Milah, they were only dating at the time. He would have been a step grandfather if he had married Milah, but he didn't. All he was to Neal was just a father figure, not an actual step father. So if Hook and Emma get married, all Hook would be to Henry is his step father. Not step grandfather, seeing as how he never actually married Milah. Just because he was like a father figure to Neal at one point in time, didn't mean he was his actual step father.

Thanksgiving would suck for the participants, but if Jiminy's parents were still alive they would ditch the puppets and sell tickets to this dinner every year. I can just see those two collecting bets on who tries to kill someone else first, who tries to kill whom, who cries first, how dry the turkey is, and whether they're having apple or pumpkin pie for dessert.

0:36-0:56 that was just the beginning of the VERY LONG + CONFUSING OUAT family tree. Later on, Peter Pan, Regina's parents and Zelena, Hook, were added to it. adding Snow and Charming's parents to it makes it even longer OUAT in a nutshell - Everyone is related to Henry and has some connection to the Charmings

He has five grandmothers, counting adoptions and stuff (Milah and Snow, biologically; Ingrid and Cora, foster/adoptively; Belle, step). Easier with the grandfathers, since AFAIK Milah and Hook didn't marry (Rumple and Charming, biologically; Henry Mills Sr, adoptively).

Oh Snow, always so hopeful. Although I actually agree with her point, I always thought it was a shame they didn't develop more of a relationship between Rumplestiltskin and Henry. Rumple was so devastated by losing Baelfire and a part of Bae lives on in Henry, so you'd think Rumple would be just as invested in protecting and having a great relationship with Henry as he was with Baelfire, but other than a couple of rare incidents it was barely mentioned again.

Which is funny because before Gold was revealed to be Henry's paternal grandfather, we actually got some pretty good scenes with them together. Henry was one of the characters who Gold had a soft spot for. I wish they had continued that more after they discovered they were family.

Yeah, especially in Season 7 since they really could have shown Rumple wanting to make amends with Henry after basically ignoring him after Baelfire's death. Maybe it was out of guilt for being the reason that Baelfire sacrificed himself or something, but I wish in that case it had been explored. I did like that Rumple wanted to save Henry from Ingrid's curse, played along with him pretending to want to be his "apprentice" and later helped and praised Henry when he went up against Fiona... Heck seeing Rumple praise and show how much he admired Henry in Season 7 was adorable and I WISH we got more of them.

This was the first family reveal. Get ready for the trillion after this.

I love when Snow says: "You can have more than one." So matter-of-fact but adorably funny!

O.o so wait..... Milah and Rumple were married, so that makes Milah Henry's grandmother. Then she ran off with hook, and that makes hook Henry's step grandfather.... Henry's mother makes out with her son's step-grandfather on the other side. Wow.... ENOUGH SAID! Not to mention Hook then falls in love with Emma. Then Henry's great grandfather tries to steal his heart. And hook is sort of like Neals step-dad, so technically Neal is fighting with his dad (of sorts) for his son's mother... To think this just gets more and more complicated as time goes on. Turns out Henry's great grandmother on his father's side created the original dark curse and everything just went downhill from there. Name one main villain who didn't end up related to some of them in some way. Even the ice queen who was Anna and Elsa's aunt considered adopting Emma when she was a teen and would've become her adoptive mother.

I appreciate that this episode shows Emma not being a perfect mom/person. I felt bad for Regina on many occasions where he ran to Emma and show have thanked or gone to Regina.

Then there is King Leopold and Queen Eva, Snow's mother and father, who are his maternal great-grandparents. Then there is Gideon (Rumple and Belle's son) who is Baelfire's younger brother and therefore Henry's paternal uncle. Then there is the Darling family, who briefly took in Baelfire when he was in Victorian England, making Wendy his paternal adopted aunt, John his paternal adopted uncle, and Michael his second paternal adopted uncle. Zelena's birth father Jonathan is his maternal step-great-great-great uncle. Then there are Zelena's adoptive parents (including her abusive adopted father) who are Henry's adopted maternal step-great-great-great aunt and uncle. However, Rumpelstiltskin also had an affair with Cora, Henry's maternal step great-great grandmother, and Regina, Henry's adopted mother and step great-grandmother. Henry's step-great-great aunt Zelena also had an affair with Hades, ruler of the Underworld. Killian's father Brennan Jones would be Henry's paternal step-grandfather, while both of Killian's brothers (both named Liam) would be his paternal step-uncle and his paternal step-half-uncle respectively. Captain Nemo, who was sort of a father figure to Killian, would be Henry's adopted paternal step-grandfather. Then there is the issue of Zelena being responsible for Baelfire's death, Killian murdering his own father Brennan making the younger Liam hate him, Cora and Eva hating each other leading to Cora poisoning Eva when Snow was a child, Snow being partially responsible for the death of Cora, Regina banishing her own mother to Wonderland, Rumple killing his own father and mother, and both Zelena and Belle having their pregnancies accelerated by Emma and the Evil Queen (Regina's evil self) respectively. There is also the issue of Killian being responsible for the death of Charming's father Robert while also being Charming's son-in-law. Then, Ingrid, upon adopting Emma, put her in danger and erased her and Elsa's memories after trying to get Elsa to kill Anna before realizing that her sister Gerda, who had imprisoned her in an urn, really loved her despite her accidentally killing her other sister Helga. Regina was also responsible for the death of Maid Marian, the father of Roland, Henry's maternal adopted step-great-uncle, and the former wife of her lover Robin Hood, until the timeline was altered by her older half-sister Zelena's time travel spell and Zelena beat Regina in killing Marian and disguised herself as her and got pregnant with Robin Hood while doing so in order to ruin Regina's chance at a happy ending. Also, Killian used to be Cora's henchman back when he was evil and he shot Belle and erased her memory and stole Rumple's wife, leading to Rumple to sever his hand and kill Milah, leading to Killian to swear revenge on Rumple. So yeah, that Thanksgiving dinner would suck big time!!!

Poor Henry. He's got one BIG family that's gunning for each other....

This show is more dramatic than most drama shows I watch. This is just a list of who slept with who and I sort of love it!

regina adopting henry just messed everything up lol

The Thanksgiving idea is amazing. XD Just imagine: Snow, Charming, Emma, Henry, Baelfire, Regina, Cora, Rumplestiltskin, Belle all on the same table. Wait for season three, when they introduce the three little pigs and Jack Sparrow as Emmas cousins. XD
