Thank you for making this accessible. It is the first time I have been able to see this bit of film since I was a kid. Ralph was my great uncle from Klamath Falls, Oregon. I was but eight years old when I saw his silver medal. Well done Ralph!

Mr. Lauri Lehtinen only died in 1973. His son, Kalevi Lehtinen, lived from 1936 to 2011, and he was a famous Lutheran evangelist, connected especially since 1974 to the Campus Crusade International.

Actually, Lauri Lehtinen died on December 4, 1973 not WWII.

Andrew Mora, thanks for your comment....and sorry it took me 8 months to see it.....for I just love it when our viewers of any of the 1500 vintage sports, comedy and music videos that are currently posted at www.imasportsphile.com corrects the Fat Cats that produced the video....and know what they are talking about....and you will want to bookmark our site because we currently have 20+ utube channels currently....and probably will have 100 by the time we post the entire 2300 hours of vintage content.....so, you will miss some real treasures like this video if you rely on the tube.
