FILM DESCRIPTION:
As a boy, Louis "Louie" Zamperini is always in trouble, but with the help of his older brother, he turns his life around and channels his energy into running, later qualifying for the 1936 Olympics. When World War II breaks out, Louie enlists in the military. After his plane crashes in the Pacific, he survives an incredible 47 days adrift in a raft, until his capture by the Japanese navy. Sent to a POW camp, Louie becomes the favorite target of a particularly cruel prison commander.

Love this movie so much, it just shows how realistic your body can hold and handle, aswell as continuing even if you are tired
The book is awesome. Seriously, give it a listen or read. You won’t be disappointed; it was eye opening and soul shaking.

Cool! I just finished the book, now I have to see this.
Excellent Jack O'Connell flick. The an olympic record is one of my favorite scene in that film. Also, I would recommend the new Elvis movie with Austin Butler and Tom Hanks if you can upload it, along with the new Plane movie with Gerard Butler, Darkman with Liam Neeson and Frances McDormand, the first two original Evil Dead movies, the 1974 version of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the 1978 version of Dawn of the Dead, Coraline with Dakota Fanning, ParaNorman, L.A. Confidential with Kevin Spacey, Kim Basinger, and Russell Crowe, and The Mambo Kings with Armand Assante, Antonio Banderas, and Cathy Moriarty.
