I'd love to get an RMR HD, as well. The RMR Type 2 is a great optic, but the window is tiny.

Idc about torture test other than round count since I actually shoot my gun I don’t drop or beat my on my gun n optic…folks b wanting certain things to fail that other wise gets the job done

I have an Olight thats lasted maaany yrs as well. Im not really hard on my equipment but it works for me. I keep it on my 12g to boot. They sure as hell arent Surefire or even Streamlight.. Had i not just ordered the Holosun NV optic (yay) i would be grabbing one of these asap. But hey, next paydays a comin'!😅 Thanks for the review brotha!

I've been really interested in the new Holosun NV and Thermal optics. I think you're going to love it. I'm trying to decide if I should try something like that or just save up for a helmet mounted night vision setup...

It would be interesting to see if they could make a charger that you could see through. I can see a situation where you are charging the optic but need to use your gun and forget to take it off. I may be overthinking things but that thought crossed my mind. Obviously, recoil would throw that thing across the room so that might be an issue.

Honestly, I don't think you're overthinking it. I had the same thought. If it's a nightstand gun and you have to grab it quick in the middle of the night when you're half asleep...

Hope they're successful in the optics world. We need some other company to challenge Holosun. Trijicon, Aimpoint, EOtech and Leupold have all fell short of pushing the bar.

I do agree, especially when it comes to pistol optics. For a long time, Holosun has been the only company truly innovating in that area, in my opinion.

8 There are other rechargeable red dots out there there's also rechargeable lights that you just leave on the gun with a magnet

I believe in one of your last videos IIRC you gave a hint and stated there was a new RDS you would be doing a video on. I believe I called it in the comments thst it was going to be an Olight RDS

Bummer. I've heard that from a few people now. Mine has been good, so far...

To me, it would be a nice PCC/pistol/ offset sight. Also, the charger is not going to survive the drop test 😢 just my opinion. Charging features are kinda overkill but a nice touch. But for the price, hey, not bad. One more thing the charging part is not a good idea for a nightstand charger for that bump in the night.

That's probably the smart move. Mine has held zero, so far, but I've only had it a week and only taken it out to the range once, so far...

I gotta stick with batteries and solar Holosuns, I'd for sure lose that charger. Im also curious to see what happens if it takes a good hit on that top charging point.

Actually, I think it's really clear. Mine has a red dot. I didn't even know it came in different colors.

We'll see how it does in a year from now

I see the first things people are going to hate about this optic if it doesn't stand the test of people beating the top of the optic or dropping it on the charging magnet.

The deck height is actually pretty low. It's lower than my Holosun C-Series, but now quite as low as the EPS. It is low enough to co-witness standard height iron sights, though.

Interesting. Mine has held zero just fine, so far, but I've also only had it out to the range once and ran 100 rounds through it. I'll continue to test it and see what happens, though.
