Old rusty axe restoration - electric etching and mirror finish
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
My new video about an old rusty hatchet restoration is my newest awesome ASMR restoration video for you. You can see how to chemical rust remove, making a handle for an axe, electric etching with 12v voltage and how to polish metal to a mirror polish surface. Electric etching steel is very easy and here you can see how the electric power creates a superb and sharp edged branding on the restored blade of the axe. As additional content we do a little woodwork with wood staining and other steps. Chemical rust removal is very poisonous and you absolutely need to watch my warnings carefully if you won't harm yourself with acids. From very rusty to like new...or even better :) Have fun!

Hey, yes I absolutely love oiling and staining, because of the structure it gives to the wood.

thanks a lot man!
Love everything except the black stain on the wood... personal preference I guess... was just wondering if the axe needed a heat treatment before you polished it to a mirror finish... Regardless of all that, the axe looks beautiful... also love the cold bluing touch to the etch...

Hey, yes lots of people don't like the black staining. Next time I would go for a layer glued handle which gehts wood turned in shape. Maybe I'll do that again this year
👍🏻 richtig schön 👍🏻
