You just popped up on my feed. I have watched 2 videos and you are awesome. I sometimes get frustrated with mountains and while you are using the same techniques the way you explain it is a bit different than others I have watched. Thank you

GM Daniel. This is a great painting for beginners to challenge themselves with. 2 color palette is a great way to learn about values and contrast. Great job mate. 👍

Superb Dan, an in-depth walk through on one of my favourite topic of highlights & shadows, Fascinating how again the three lines of trees push back the mountains so much with a bit of pull & grab on each

What a lovely result and plenty of handy hints for all the artistic followers of your channel Dan. Using so few colours and creating such an atmospheric scene always amazes me. Have you ever thought of creating a picture in the style of Laurence Stephen Lowrie? I relaise he didn't paint mountains, but would be nice to see your take on one of his pictures.

Fantastic idea!! I teach wet on wet from time to time and my students definitely have trouble with highlights and shadows. There are also some issues with mountain layouts. The gesso idea is brilliant! Think I’ll start doing gesso mountains for my students.

I love your mountain ranges. As a southpaw I always have difficulties. Who was the famous artist who wrote from right to left? Was he left handed because it makes sense to me 🤷‍♀. Fab as always Master T👏😎🍀
