My grandma makes this recipe , in our village that is in Kerala we call this cake as khums . Really amazing cake 😋😋. She spreads little ghee in cooker coats well in each every corner and pour this batter to cooker ( remove whistle )and bakes it on stove on low flame by keeping a pan under the cooker …

I am a professional Baker, m surprised to knw it doesn't need cake gel ( improver) or even baking powder ! Just Excellent 👍🏻🌷

I really enjoyed it very much... Just a little more vinalla essence needs to be added... Had kept this cake for few days and nothing happened... Was fresh as a fresh one. Great recipe 👍

What a brilliant recipe. As a diabetic I have to be careful about carb intake...90g of flour, about 65g carb. Substitute the sugar for granulated sweetener... cracked it!!! Many thanks. Cake is BACK on the menu.
