David Spade has been CRIMINALLY under rated his entire career. @38:43 that quick off hand remark, unpredictable, witty humor is the prime example. Every interview or podcast you will see him doing this and everyone is in stitches from laughter. I truly think he may be one of the most genuinely funny people of all time. He is always saying the perfect thing to make you laugh and he constantly hits home runs with it.
The tension between Jason and Spade is hilarious
“Jesus I don’t have to walk you through all these jokes do I?” Lmao had the crew crackin up

@@VitaKet Being a Comedian doesn't give you a free pass to say whatever you want. You can do that as a comedian hanging out with other comedians but when you're just talking to a normal person you need to build up a relationship with them first. David understands this. Part of being a good comedian is being able to read a room. (and David is really good at that) Jasons reaction was natural for someone that isn't a comedian getting roasted by an extremely famous person.

I have a lot more respect for David Spade from his skateboarding stories. Sure, he was always witty and funny but air to axle stall steps it all up. I think I speak for a lot of us when I say movies like Police Academy 4 brought skateboarding to us and encouraged it. Spade is a significant part of skateboarding history when you think about it, and I'm glad he did this podcast. Such as great episode.
This podcast has really found its groove. I used to be passively subscribed but now I actively look for new uploads.

38:38 The roasting of Ellis by Spade throughout the show made me LOL. Ellis was a good sport about it.
Spade is the biggest little dude I never skated with. That guy just says the best stuff at most of the right times. I feel like he's a man fully OK with himself, effortlessly entertaining, with honesty as his ammo. love it :D
Jason definitely spent a full week going "but did he really mean it? Cause I suck." to himself afterward. Lol. But I also wouldn't be surprised if Spade texted him like 2 days later and was like "your not actually upset are you? Like you know I just do that." And Ellis is like "aw thank you dude. Phew. Seriously I needed that." Frickin Ellis.. 😂 Love em. It's great.

This is top-notch banter 😂
This episode was awesome on so many levels. One cool thing about these is you learn more sometimes in one podcast about something from a previous podcast! Tony had talked about an actor “reluctant” to learning skating….. I wondered who, but Tony being Tony, wouldn’t just say! So now in this one, Spade mentions it about Police Academy 4 and now I know! Also, who else but Jason could wear that pink onsey looking thing and still seem intimidating? I am addicted now.
Spade is amazing at conversation and going with the flow seems so chill

Police Academy 4 was the first COOL skateboarding I saw at 10 years old. I got a Nash for my birthday. Then I met some people who showed me Gleaming the Cube. That was better. Finally I got to see all the Powell videos with some H-Street videos too. Thanks for my childhood memories. I also met Tony Hawk and Matt Hoffman at a state fair demo they did. I talked with them forever after the show. Nobody knew either of them. No x-games or internet then. Just BMX Plus and Thrasher/Transworld. Both down to earth and super awesome. Lets go! We needed this one. Great episode
Just came across a clip on Instagram, a week or so back, of Spade skateboarding in Police Academy. I was reminded how seeing that as a kid was mind blowing. Skating in a real movie! Not just in a magazines. It really stuck with me enough to go right back to that thought when I saw it.

Comedic legend! I'm stoked to hear that you guys did Fly On The Wall too, I'm a big fan of those guys. I love how you guys are transitioning into comedy but still keeping the skating element, I'm a huge fan of both and you guys are naturals with the comedy part.

This was so good, Spade is awesome. The skating talk was fun to listen too.
I love David Spade so much. Used to love just shoot me, and him on SNL and all his movies. I dig how his comedy is so chill and not “try hard”
I didn't want this to end.
I love spade life's a garden dig it
I gotta start by saying Jason Ellis is a beast and has been one of my favorite skaters since he came out.. Your fans are still out here, I thought it was awesome when they had him in more and more of the bam episodes, because other than his skate vids you didn't get to learn or know a whole lot about Jason as a person back then, but I thought he was hilarious on the show and in general and he aways had a dope Steez I loved to watch.. I'm a fan of all types of skating but I'm a street skater and I always thought he brought Street skating into vert and made it even sicker.. but I wanted to get on here and make a point to say how awesome Jason Ellis is because I don't think he gets enough recognition and I wanted to let him know we didn't forget about ya brother!!! You still have fans out here.. we are just getting old as f**k now 😆😆😆 but trust and believe Jason Ellis will forever be one of the greatest to ever do it. I had to show some love after all the playful banter about David not knowing much about him and him saying hes no big deal.. bc he was in fact a big deal and was easily in the top 5 vert skaters in the world at one point.. that's bc he's a BEAST!!! ❤#HAWKvWOLF
That ad was brilliant. "Debit CARD" followed by the best Tony Hawk impression of all time
I thought it was going to end bad with David and Jason haha Great Podcast as always lads!!
Hall of Fame! Funny, informative & soulful. Thanks Spade, Jason & Tony 🤙
Great interview!! Gleaming the cube!! Yes💯
I was never much of a Spade fan until I started seeing him in these podcasts. He's twice as funny off the cuff as he is in the movies and SNL.
David Spade was a skater and still supports skateparks, he just became cooler.
Of all things, I'm most impressed with how the print behind spade lines up with the mortar between the bricks so well.
Awesome interview 👍

Also seen Joe Dirt long time ago without realising it was Mr Police Academy star skater. Plus the beef between David and Jason is pure comedy. Great episode.
