Lil Wayne is a time capsule in my life. Money On My Mind was playing the first time I smoked weed in HS. My buddy gave me a gas mask, put the bud in the bowl, and I coughed the cherry out in the car. Comfortable was playing the first time I got laid after a dance. How To Love was playing on the first date with a girl I think about almost every day. Let It All Work Out was playing at my lowest point after breaking up with that girl. "God, came to my side and we talked about it He sold me another life and he made a profit" It's all good now. I love you Wayne. Thank you.

I hope people can appreciate how unselfish it is that Wayne is letting skaters use his music for parts without demanding payment. I think that more than a lot of things demonstrates a true and genuine love for the sport. Just wanting to be a part of something because being involved is rewarding enough. Ofc he’s extremely wealthy, but often very wealthy people are the most greedy. Hats off to him. That’s just awesome.

Hawk, Wolf...and Wayne!!!🤔 From a lifelong "black" skater, I am 47 at the moment, I can truly appreciate the significance of what I just watched. Pride is too small of an emotion to describe how I feel about Wayne the skater...and for who I consider a godfather of the culture (Hawk) to be impressed is awesome validation...that we understand you didn't need, kick push for ever. Awesome show guys.

I've been trying to find this video. It was a black dude who seemed very "hood" doing 360 flips wearing untied timberland boots. He was doing them 360 flips just about as fast as I can snap my fingers. I have no idea who that dude is, it was just a random video that was popular like seven years ago. It honestly seemed like he only did that one trick. Pretty fucking impressive. I met this black dude who did flat ground bmx one time and he blew my mind. Seemed like a pro to me but he said he was just another dude. He did this trick where he rode in tighter and tighter and tighter circles until eventually he went up on just his front wheel and was just free-spinning like a fkn figure skater or a ballerina. Just impossibly fast, an impossible number of rotations. He rode it out man, that fucking guy was nasty with it. This was in downtown Detroit at like three am, back around 2012-13. I'll never forget that dude, what a thrill. Edit:basically what I'm saying here is, these types of "sports", I think of them more as artform, they are universal, for everybody, maybe Lil Wayne cant do a 360 flip but come on, nobody can do EVERYthing. Even myself, I suck, but I love to just roll around, tic-tac, just feels good. Just like anything, cooking, golf, gardening, sewing, play an instrument Just to express yourself. Even if you suck, ppl like watching other ppl have fun, it's all fun. All good things.
You can see his passion when he’s on these skate podcasts and just talks about skating for the entire show. He definitely enjoys these “interviews” a lot compared to traditional ones he’s used to
