Yup! That’s why it’s called Lucid Group for a reason. Lucid is the hub epicenter of it all. It is the tree and other companies it will acquire/partnership with will be its branches!

How can anybody not love Lucid? First, the Air. Now, Gravity. So far ahead of everyone in the automotive sector. Lucid as a company itself, is admirable. Anybody hating is just dumb or a Tesla stan. Long live, Lucid!

well they are known to break down and have numerous issues. i will admit most EVs as of now are not perfect, but at least a lexus or mercedes-benz electric car won't break down constantly

People tend to choose based on their needs and while i need to drive a lot and cover large distances i still wouldn’t choose lucid cause they’re really new to the market and it will have defects so my choose is the ioniq 5 which drives amazing, has a great sound system and feels light and compact while being pretty darn fast.

What's so great about Peter Rawlison is the fact he's not a noise-maker like the other EV maker. His humility also sets him apart from their arrogance. I'm investing in Lucid because of Peter.

I still vividly remember when there were doubts about Lucid's capability to manufacture EVs. Glad to see their progress.

Needs an optional gas range extender for us in apt. This would also add hundreds of miles to the range installed where the rear seats go down a hybrid Prius gets 700 mile range fills up in2 minutes or less

@@curtiszbikowskiI smell a rat. it's a stinkier gravity 🤥🫣 O sold 0 track record about to go bankrupt basically a minivan without sliding doors and only 440 miles range 220 when it's cold, stuck when it's freezing. .to be fair both are entirely different vehicles. .this is closer to the sienna minivan Lexus has a version in Japan that's even closer. .this really does need either a hybrid, plugin 8r at least a small gas generator for say 100 miles from gas to increase the range preheat the batteries especially. In freezing cold or when chargers are not working. That vehicle at the right price would sell like hotcakes. Americans who want evs actually would prefer some sort of gas backup. 8n it. Like a reverse plug in and bmw first ev with the gas generator.

hummmmm 80k is by all means not a fair price. It’s an expensive car. Chinese EVs has more features with half of the price. Also the service and charging networks post serious questions for broad adoption.

Even at 100k, it's still a lot cheaper than virtually all its competitor in the luxury automobile sector. Getting myself one, most definitely.

I'm not a fan of SUV's but that thing is nice! I do like how they made it as efficient as possible and not so big and cumbersome for the sake of being big. Also, the space actually looks usable unlike some SUV's and crossovers.

Great looking SUV. I hope this can hit the mass market at the right time which is ASAP. This should have been released first than Lucid Sedan. Good luck team !

This will be the best SUV on the market. Well done Lucid! Another great product.

Lucid is one of the most exciting car companies in the world. I love this. Hope they add an option for 5 seat and shorter back for those who dont need all that space. I see perfection in this.

Really nice like I said with Air this is more proof that Lucid gets what EV's are all about managing to be a lot of style but then even more substance which matters even more.

The battery technology is number 1

The seat fold down in the second and third rows is impressive! Now hurry up and start mass producing it :)

It would be really helpful to add (unless it already has it) infrared or something like that for bad weather. An add on to one of the driver selectable screens would be nice. I would love to have one if I could ever afford it. lol. It is a great looking well thought out vehicle that will give Tesla a run for their money. Plus LCID stock price is affordable. @@thadlm2698 Considering that you can get an Air Pure for under $75k, with AWD, I think that Lucid has kept its word on delivering a base trim at a good price. I wouldn't have expected the RWD to be that low at this point.

I doubt it. Lucid is a premium brand. Trucks are just not glamorous. You don’t really see Mercedes or BMW trucks in America. If they make one it would be years down the line. Most likely next models will be smaller Air and Gravity and be around $50-$60k.

@@aebimomi you're out of date..every other family car here is an SUV these days. They dont release these cars in the UK because they require a lot of modification to make LH drive

You can. They announced the partnership with Tesla but most of the chargers they have are slow 150kwh chargers with 400v..But still I guess better than nothing.

@@rohitkurup6191 It's a bit worse than that. At 400V you won't see more than 50kW. Lucid comes with EA charging for free for up to three years, depending on trim level. EA's network will charge a Lucid much faster...if it works. But if it doesn't, and I have to pay for charging anyway, and I won't get more than 50kW from Tesla (plus the cables aren't likely to reach) then I could use any CCS provider with 50kW or more until Tesla gets its act together and builds a V4 network with 1000V support. By the time the Gravity comes out, it will have NACS so you will be able to charge at Tesla Superchargers. Assuming that the other providers add NACS by then, you'll be able to charge there too. But I wouldn't be surprised if you needed an adapter as a backup, in case there are CCS stations that haven't been converted and the only Tesla chargers around are pre-V4.

Wow they way out did that other EV company. A SUV with actual usable space amazing. I could do without the 3rd row and put in a spare tire would be game changing for EV manufacturers. I hope they have plans to make a slightly smaller version, less luxurious and a lower price for the average consumer. $40-50K range. Lucid EV motor technology is definitely the best in the industry.

As someone who loved the design and practicality of the Toyota Venza, I feel like this is what the modern Venza shouldve been. Good on Lucid

Not in the market for a SUV but great to see a nice option out there for EV SUV buyers. I have a Rivian (R1T/Truck version) and a Tesla Model S. Didnt find the other Lucid models to be compelling.

I have a Model S and an Air GT. I find the latter far more compelling than the Tesla in most ways. Lucid is still behind in ADAS for now, but the par that they got done so far was done better than Tesla. They also have a number of software things that I hope they will enhance over the coming years. I went through that with Tesla over the past nine years, and Tesla improved a lot. Some of Lucid's software mistakes are a repeat of Tesla's and shouldn't be hard to fix. Then there's the charging network issue. I hope to sidestep it since the Air gives me enough range that I might not have to stop to charge on road trips, especially if I stay at hotels with L2 charging. And I don't want to give the impression that Lucid's software is worse than Tesla's overall. A lot of it is more intelligently designed. And some things on Tesla's broke years ago and were never fixed.
