    Since I'm a beginner (at age 31😅) I like to improve my balance using a balance board (e.g. trying to do spiral positions and pistol squats) and stretching because I'm really inflexible.

    Thank you very much for this video. How many repetitions would you recommend for each of the exercises? I've just started with the waltz jump at the end of this season, but I hope I will be able to learn other jumps as well next season, so I need to improve my strength to jump higher during off-ice season. :)

    In general with exercise you can't really go wrong with doing 3-4 sets x 6-8 reps, depending on your fitness level you can definitely increase or decrease as needed. I will say the best way to improve your results, after you've gotten fairly comfortable with these exercises, is to take your last set to failure and see how many reps you can do and then follow up with one additional set ~1/2 the number of reps of your failure set (e.g. 3x8, then 1xfailure, 1x1/2 failure totaling 5 sets)
