It’s your shower and there are no rules! It’s beautiful and uniquely yours. Good job. When I look at the prefabbed shower in our cabin, although I love it, I sometimes wish I did something special and home made. 💝

Thanks Michy.....prefab clean easily, seal up good, and keep moisture out.....but this might do some of that too, lol. But it wouldn't have been right to use one here in the cabin.

I've used the "L" shaped drop ceiling wall angle pieces for trim. They come in 12' pieces and are easy to spray paint. About $7 a piece at your local box store. You can also spray paint the screw heads by screwing them about a 1/4" into a piece of scrap wood and applying several coats of paint to match trim. Obviously the trim would sit on the raised seams along each wall. Apply a dab of construction adhesive on each seam and install trim. Pre-drill and install screws. The project is looking very nice guys!

I think that a thick dark green (card playing table-green) "line" going betwwen the copper walls and the ceiling would look nice. With thick I guess two or three inches wide on the wall and the same on the ceiling. When I saw the copper plates it made me think of my dark green Jaguar bag with the text in copper. Looks so cool! Good luck with your shower. 😎

Jen and Jay, I love the color of the shower. You might need another light across from the fan. Go a light color on a shower curtain.

Tinted silicone grout!!! In the tube like calk! No trim needed 😊 also… get Jen a lighted mirror medicine cabinet for that little wall across from the water heater… she’ll love you a little more ❤

If celling is installed first walls do the work around the perimeter instead of screws also allows for less gaps to fill. A press brake would have been useful for more precise bends, they're available to rent. Enough criticizing from my couch, everything you've accomplished looks good, is more than adequate and quite the feat by yourselves. I have a feeling the solar upgrade is gonna be just what you needed. Binged your build in about 2 weeks and had a blast. look forward to more. Stay off them ladders! lol... BTW Copper color caulk is available on Amazon

You can buy paintable caulk and hopefully color match it! Finding molding might be more difficult! Harbor Freight sells pool LED rope light that you could run along the top and kill two birds with one stone! It does look really nice and worth the extra effort! 🧡🧡🧡
