How unique! I like it! I’d add a wooden toilet seat and a wooden plank/shelf on the back of the toilet, to hide the white and to carry on with the wood theme. It would also create balance to the overall look.

If your up to it try one of the cheap dent pullers for automotive use they work on the hot glue method and seem to work really well, the job you did is great the bath really looks cool!

Half bath looks awesome, Those dent's increased the value of the job, it's called antiquing. WE always insulated bathrooms, if I built my own Id insulate the bedrooms too. insulation is cheap

Even, did you ever find the horseshoe towel holder for the 1/2 bath Rebecca was looking for? I just watched the videos on the barrel sink and bath again for about the 10th time. Love it!

Have your wife get a horseshoe and for the towel bar and use some type of rod or hook to hang it with. Place it on the wall and brainstorm. I like her idea there. It can be done! Great job you two!

Very nice! I'm currently renovating my home and looking for something like this...the interior of the bathroom is white faux brick- I'd like to stain it red, to match the brick outside the bathroom. Thinking of wainscoting too...so red brick from 3' to ceiling.... Pallet wood wainscoting or rust/corrugated??

You should take the handle off the toilet and spay paint it to match the faucet on the sink. I will help the toilet feel more inclusive to the decor.

I love this also. We are remodeling an old house and are re-using all the wood. It has the different width boards that are horizontal. I am wanting to use this tin but my questions are 1. Do you have to inset the part of the wall that you want to put the tin in (husband says yes to make it flush) and 2. at the bottom, do you have something or is there something to go over the open areas so dirt and dust doesn't get down behind the trim board?

I’m looking to do that to my bathroom. Can you tell me what you used to cut the metal? Also when you added the wood pieces on top and bottom are they on top of the metal or right over/under it? I thought of adding the top and bottom pieces first and then filling it with the sheets to size but I like the way yours looks. Any tips would be appreciated.

to cut the sheet sides, that will be showing, I used sheet metal shears. I have an old hand tool set. They don't bend the metal like tin snips. For the top and bottom I just used a metal blade on a saw, cause you can't see those cuts when it's complete. As far as the wood trim, I used a 1x6 on bottom and it is nailed right on top of the metal. The top trim board is a 1x4, with half of it over lapping the metal and half nailed to the wood on the upper half of the wall.

Does this make the room hotter? My wife wants that look in our four seasons room. The room would have a fan but no AC

Can you link us to what sink, drain, and faucets you used? Were building a house and I am wanting to do this in my office/SAC (Spousal Avoidance Centre) half bath.

The door in the front open to access the plumbing and we store extra towels inside.
