Will the Corvette steering gear accept a lock spacer to prevent it turning so far? I ran them on a widebody Mustang I had because tje wheels would hit (similar to what you show on the Z06).

I'm curious to see how the spacing is with tires. Are you worried about the vent for the brake cooling for the front brakes?

I mounted one side front and rear and the tires clear the vents and all the plastics, just barely in some spots. The rims hit the back of the top A arm at full lock but I think I can get away with it for now.

What did you end up doing about the front rubbing the control arm?

When I was getting the car aligned I found that after putting the camber in that i wanted, it no longer rubbed. I've been running about negative 4 camber in the front which works well racing but I wouldn't recommend for street driving.

Any chance you could measure the inside diameter of the barrel behind the mounting surface? Trying to see if these will clear my brakes

The rims were about $180 each for $720 for all 4. But that was awhile ago so I expect them to be more now.

after a year of these how did they hold up?

They have held up great. They look good and two weeks ago I had suspension failure on my passenger front and that rim took some damage but it made it through my last race without any issues. kzread.info/dash/bejne/apmN0LCMlJuYg7g.html I want to get another set for some track tires.

I am thinking about buying the same rims. I see that you put a 10.5 inch rim up front. Did you end up using a spacer to stop the rim from rubbing the upper control arm?

I'm running -3 camber and slightly slower than stock height, those combined give just enough clearance without the need for the spacer but I still run a .5mm spacer for tire clearance from the inner fender at full lock.

@oisforoffroad I won't be running any camber. I have BC coilovers. Do you think running a spacer is all I would need? Are you running 315 in the rear?

I was running 295's front and rear when I recorded the video but now I have 315/30's all the way around. I think it would work without spacers but it's really hard to tell. I don't have stock bushings, my bushings are off center so my entire suspension geometry is not stock.

@oisforoffroad I have replaced all my bushings as well. I am thinking about doing it and just running a spacer. Are you running stock shocks or coilovers?

Coilovers. I have triple adjustable King shocks. If you are running coilovers and spacers you should have enough adjustment to make things fit.

I have the chrome exact wheels from this manufacturer online and been trying to find the weight of these compared to the oem speedlines / alcoas

@@oisforoffroad I bought them in the exact size specifications as oem, didn’t even know they were potentially hitting the strut and / or the plastic fender guards

I just got my tires mounted (295/30 front and 295/35 rear). The only thing that rubs is the front rims on the rear of the control arn. I have yet to drive the car to do a full test but I ordered spacers just incase.

@@oisforoffroad reason why I ask is because is I have 275/40/17 and 295/35/18 for front and rear respectively on their oem same style offset and what not and didn’t ever notice rubbing if it was

I thought that was factory zo6 specs why would you have rear clearance issues ?

Front and rear fit fine but she is far from stock underneath. I ran 295's all the way around earlier this year and now I have 315's. Everything fits.

@@oisforoffroad I understand you are running rear wheel specs up front I was more less talking about the rear brake lines touching the wheel how do you like the wheels I'm thinking they are totally worth $207 a piece

Ah ya, I forgot about those lines. I zip tied them out of the way. The wheels have been great. I've autocrossed once a weekend at a minimum all season with one track day as well. I'm thinking of getting a second set for rain tires.
