I got to be doing something wrong because I have low settings in an RTX 4060 laptop, intel 13900, 32 GB Ram and a 2560 x 1080 @ 75 hz. I limit fps to 80 fps in nvidia config and I have a lot of stuttering. Fps drops to 70. R indicator in meter box goes orange. I even limited max cars to 15 to avoid high cpu usage.

To limit FPS you need to have a bunhc of things going: V-Sync on Fast in the Nvidia Control Panel, but in iRacing you MUST have V-Synch on driver set to OFF. You MUST limit FPS, IN GAME, 4 FPS BELOW monitor Hz, so 71 for you. Also if FPS drop is because your system can't keep up. There are videos on the channel about iRacing settings and iRacing Nvidia Control Panel. Whatch those and apply all the suggested modification, you'll see a big difference.

@@RacingPCs yeah, I just tested those changes and helped me tons, thanks!! I’m going to test the v-sync on nvidia and limit my fps a little bit below. I wonder how much the CPU is limiting me because after changing everything my fps improved but C indicator goes orange when certain accidents happen, so I guess it’s related to physics. Have you experienced that? And finally, stuttering still happens a lot when people joins or leave a session. I tried removing the notifications on join/leave but still happening. Thanks again!

@@federicocl3164 Good!! Stuttering when people joins is a Server issue from iRacing side. There's nothing that can be done, it happens in ACC too, not in LMU. The physics getting red is CPU related and possibly your CPU can't keep up. Here is the single thread capacity that counts, not how many cores you have. Try also to close as many apps inthe background, try full screen, try overclocking the cpu a bit... In iRacing V-synch stays off on nvidia control panel. And limits FPS IN GAME, 3/4 below max monitor Hz.
