TC has an actual bucket brigade delay for $79. The TC Echobrain is analog too, but I don’t know if they’re still around new. Guess it depends on what one is looking for. This Nux delay, sounds very digital, whether on tape or analog mode.

@@SeanPierceJohnson Oh, I got it, and love it. I’m sold on Nux, and talked myself into getting their Damp Reverb, to go along with the Edge Delay. Man, I really enjoy your reviews very much, and want you to know I really appreciate the time you take.

I've been really impressed with NU-X as of late. Especially after learning they also make Electronic drum kits. This delay just sounds amazing! IMO this delay and the aforementioned chorus are budget no brainer must buys. I'm also interested in their Plexi Crunch, Recto Distortion (horrifying name BTW! 😦😅), as well as the Amp Academy (which suss reminds me of the Atomic Amplifire Mk1). Great demo my dude! I'm really aspiring to reach out to NU-X myself about potentially shooting my own demo content, but for now? I'll scoop up a couple of these affordable gems and shoot some independently. Damn for such a tiny pedal this thing is packed. Definitely the perfect delay to recommend to someone who wants to get into delays. (Next to ye ole boss DD, AD and the MXR carbon copy)

It appears to be the delay side of the Atlantic and the delay module of the Cerberus. I have both of those, but I like this one because it is stereo in & out (the Atlantic is only mono input).

Sounds great Sean! I'm a huge fan of the Edge and his delay and many other tones... they could do an entire effects smorgas-board of effects on him! really cool playing, and awesome sound. can you tell me how you adjust the volume and wet/dry mix going into the amp? i have this problem where keeping the dry an unity and adding the wet muddies up the amp. on the other hand if i turn the dry down, it doesn't drive the amp. any tips?

I'm gonna pick one of those Edge pedals up as soon as my MF rewards points become available! (BTW I have the same black metallic LP Studio as you.)🤘🎸

Killer demo! One thing I wasn’t clear on is how the tap tempo works. How does it differentiate between you tapping a tempo in vs wanting to bypass the pedal? Thanks

Thanks! It pretty much works based off the amount of presses you give it in a certain timeframe. One tap follow reasonably quickly by another will trigger the tap tempo. One tap and one tap only within that same time bypasses the pedal. It seems like it would be easy to screw up but it’s actually quite easy and intuitive. This isn’t the first delay pedal I’ve had with a similar setup

Makes me wonder how long this will be in market before U2 has it pulled…

Best first delay? I've had two for years, and I've been searching for one with the dark repeats like the dm2, but with a tap tempo. This thing might be exactly what I've been looking for.

What is the difference between this and the Konsequent Delay?

@@SeanPierceJohnson Konsequent is the older platform. Mono only, no mode switching, just two sub-divisions (quarters and .8ths). So this new one is miles ahead. Had both :)

So it can do Streets with no name just that 1 pedal or you need another delay pedal?

@@SeanPierceJohnson it’s hard to tell really, Building 429 did I Am Free with Streets with no name, Jessie Garcia the Worship guitarist used the Boss DD-20 and the Boss DD-7 to emulate the delay from Edge’s hit song, Jessie said you see Edges pedal board he is running 3 to 5 delays at one time with 1 and 2 echos with it, It’s just hard to do U2 by all the delays, I love your videos and I have Autism, Just got the NUX Queen of Tone pedal yesterday by seeing your video by me looking for another overdrive, Thats my favorite pedal on my board, Thank you for your videos and it helps me choose my next pedals… Rock On Dude! Do a video on Streets with no name with the Edge delay..

much better ones out there for the price 70£ here i got 3 that blow it away for under 40 one witch have stereo usb freeze tap and loads more nobs that this beginners delay pedal doesn't have then again reviews never go into how much for what you get and i got 2 others pedals offer exact same 40£
