This is why your demos are awesome... You don't just start the video playing thousands of notes per second, even if you can, you just set the mood, shows a more complex approach in a short and beautiful song and then you show the product potential. You are different, and that of course is why we all love your videos and your music, thank you for that.

What a fantastic demo. I can’t imagine it being done any better. First the total mix, then a simple explanation of delay and reverb types on the pedal, then a breakdown of the parts in the mix with the delay/reverb settings noted onscreen. Really excellent, Pete, thank you. What would be helpful some day would be to see you put a pedal like this against separate delay and reverb units in a similar price range to see how increased options plays off against simplicity of operation.

You did a great job reviewing this unit. I like how you put the "best foot forward" before going into some talk about it. I usually have to skip around a video to find a part of the review that has this. What I feel is that I want to hear what the best of something sounds like first and then get the details. If the best is not worth it, then I can skip to another unit. You really show how good this unit is (and, of course, you using it!).

All of the NUX digital stuff is A1! I buy to use live. For crazy stuff I use a Neunaber. BUT you can not go for some crazy ambience thing in the middle of a tune then back to the songs verse ...dry. It sounds amateur. So the Oceanic is ideal as an always on reverb ...especially when used as a plate. There are 2 other good plates The Mr. Black (mini) and the Deadbeat Void Reverb. All are less then $100.00 USD

You're clearly enjoying the effects and playing cool stuff because of the feeling it's giving you, which is again.. exactly the objective!! Great playing! Wonderful demo, I own the pedal and I'm very pleased with it! In addition to your detailing of the functions when the pedal is in series mode, holding down either the Reverb or the delay switch prior to the powering up of the unit determines which affect starts the signal chain. Another word holding delay in series mode while powering it up will introduce delsy into Reverb or vice versa rather than parallel with run side-by-side.

Coming in very late to this Nux party - Pete, you did a brilliant job demonstrating this quite amazing pedal! I’ve had it for about a year now and it is such a world beater at the price, but honestly it has nothing to apologize for! As you showed, both the reverb and delay sides are quite luscious and usable. The smart tap tempo is better than anything other than a dedicated tap tempo and is way more usable than my Halo delay (which is a lot more expensive and doesn’t have reverb). Again, great demo by a great player of a great pedal!

Thanks for a very nice demo! The video seems to imply the unit is hardwired to feed the delay into the reverb (in series mode). Actually, the pedal can be configured to either feed the delay into the reverb or the reverb into the delay. This is done by keeping the delay (or reverb) footswitch pressed before powering up the unit.

Took my modded DD-5 off my jam/rehearsal board on the weekend and tried the Atlantic (I'd been getting my reverb either from the desk or an old Behringer Reverb Machine). The Atlantic stays on the jam board, it sings - especially with a Muff and a bit of modulation. Total Gilmour territory on those delays (tape & '80s digital FTW) and the reverb can set to a nice, subtle vintage 'verb, just how I like it. Great in parallel.
