Andy! Been a fan of yours for years and when I first heard that piece you did on TPS that Tim talks about in this video I was floored, and pretty much had the same reaction as Dan, and instantly had to pause and rewind that part until I had it learned. It's the best "lullaby" guitar music I've ever heard. My family loves it.

Andy... thank you for your work. love u
When I was 16 (54 now) Andy was at the University of Miami and he was my guitar teacher and helped me get into Berklee College of Music. Even way back then the chops, musicality, touch, passion, humility, THE EVERYTHING- was a revelation. It was so impressive I have tried and wanted to emulate that ever since and he defined it. So thankful for that time, and love the pedal.

What a cool experience to study with him there in Coral Gables - A great jazz program to study in. When I auditioned in 84' on Bass they did everything they could to help people get into their Masters in Jazz Performance.
Not only is Andy Timmons a great guitarist, but he's also a great person. I reached out to him to thank him for a backing track he produced and he immediately replied to me. Such a nice guy. So humble to be such a great talent. Like another we all know. :) 🏆
Andy has so much feel, lots of space and emotion, his tone is stunningly good. One of my all time favorite guitarists. Heck of a nice guy too.

@@Jonwsm Thanks for the heads up Jon! Just got it! 👍
That B section (1:47) is basically just the ending of 'No Other Love' by Jo Stafford. The part that goes "...let no other love know the wonder of your spell." And that makes perfect sense, since Andy has reportedly called this song his tribute to Chopin, and Chopin is the one who wrote the piece that 'No Other Love' was based on - Étude No. 3 in E, Op. 10. I think that's partly why it feels like this song was just "always there" (0:29). Granted, Andy adds a lot of his own tasty bits to it! Cheers.

I’ve been an Andy T. fan since the ‘90s. He can literally play any genre of music with expertise and authenticity.
Andy's music has always had a "feel" quality to it that is unmatched in its' uniqueness, IMHO. And kudos to you, Tim, for recognizing him: I love how you remain in awe of great players, even though you are one of them, as well.
I just love Andy's playing. I don't think there's anyone that makes me as emotional as he does with his playing.

@@timpierceguitar That visualisation is very cool! Did you use any particular visualisation program or edited note by note?
I flat out love it when great music brings a tear. That’s the whole point.
A king expressing his impressions and feelings about another king. My respect. Awesome pedal, super balanced and subtle yet with so many sound colors.
Tim, your teaching method has a very calming effect, everything makes sense when you say it, and becomes simple... not easy, but simple! Thankyou!
Tim, I've been watching your channel for quite some time, You always bring the best of guitarists and their techniques to your videos. Man Andy can make tears drop, that's truly one of the best heart wrenching guitar melodies I've heard in a long time! Thank You both!
I never once forgot how good Andy is, and what an influence he is to me and so many others. But, this piece of music on TPS was the stake in the ground to remind me “Oh yeh, that’s why I love the guy” I must’ve rewatched this entire episode half a dozen times, and that specific clip north of 30. Hauntingly beautiful.
Beautiful ! So nice you bought this to our attention. Thanks Tim.
Can you believe how good Andy and Tim both are? Mindblowing talent and journeymen up there with the very greatest…🎸🎶🏴
Great video Tim! Andy is such a gift. I’ve been fortunate to have met him a couple times at NAMM, and he’s always so gracious and kind. I saw him perform Ave Maria live back in 2020 and I cried too.
Andy Timmons should get even more recognition, I feel like many guitarists haven't found how beautiful his songs are yet.
Love mine! Got it last week... so simple... GREAT presets... Thank you for inspiring me enough with this vid to get my own!
I saw that episode and it was indeed magical and I too was struck to tears. So much love was played on that fretboard, that moment in time stoped...
So glad you did this! When I saw that TPS video and was floored by how beautiful that song was. I searched for the track and couldn't find it. Thanks for teaching it! (And thanks Andy for writing it)
There are many words to describe what I just heard! Beautiful, sublime, amazing, intuitive yet surprising! A sonic journey, of the perfect chord progression , climbing, and descending! a work of art! THANK YOU!

Absolutely beautiful. That subtle expression on the tremolo is exquisite.
Man o man o man! Andy’s playing, your enthusiasm and clear instruction. A win win for us. THANK YOU Tim.
That was a GREAT episode! I had not seen the "That Pedal Show" episode with Andy and I too was moved with his performance, but was so beautiful! Thank you for breaking it down for us, now I have to go work on playing that!!!
Simply among the most beautiful tones on guitar! Beautifully played, hats off to Andy and Tim for sharing such magic! Only masters can evoke such emotions through their instruments! ❤
Thank you Tim for all the performances that you have done, which have touched my soul! And especially for sharing this, as Andy has been one of my favorite guitar players since hearing his first Ear-X-tacy album back in the 90's! ❤
great video Tim, such a joy to see how much you loved Andy's insanely emotional playing.......Awesome mate!
Very beautiful. I'm hearing bits of Moon River - the "up around the bend" bit. He did well not to get dragged into just repeating that, but took it in different directions.
truly touches my heart. Thanks Andy, Thanks Tim
It's one of the most, if not - the most, emotional playing and beautiful musical genius... ever played by Andy, and wonderfully explained and demonstrated by Tim - Ever! Thank you Guys... Music, great music, is an Experience... Yes it is!
Whoa, that was amazing! ...the original performance -and- your breakdown. I've really never listened to much of his solo stuff before, but WOW, thanks for turning me on to him!
Tim, this is an awesome vid !!! Great walk thru of Andy's song.. just incredible playing. Thanks for sharing this!
Tim I have to say that fretboard animation is amazing please continue to use this if it’s possible it’s greatly appreciated!
I’ve heard his name many times over the years, and come across ‘his’ pedal everywhere. I’ve meant to check him out for a long time now, but for some reason have not gotten around to it yet. I’m a fairly regular viewer of TPS also, but haven’t seen the episode mentioned here. Guess what suddenly became the next video on my watchlist today! Man, I get why his name is everywhere now, and I will DEFINATLY check out his channel and of course his music now! Also, thank you so much Tim for sharing this with us! Love your channel and your amazing work! Shout out to my two other favourites over at TPS, and to Mr.Timmons who I’m shure will also find his way in to my favourites quite rapidly! ❤
What a beautiful melody done with such amazing feel! Thanks for bringing Andy to my attention. I'm a huge fan now!
What a beautiful song ❤ Love Andy's melodic playin And love your knowledge about music and willing to share with us, guitar lovers. Cheers Tim and Andy 🙏
Andy is one of the best out there and it’s great to see Tim recognize him. I got to treat my youngest daughter to one of his performances at the iridium in New York City three or four years ago and she loved it!
I just saw this and now I can play it. Thank you so much. So beautiful on so many levels. Wonder clip.
Thank's for that breakdown. I'm playing along right now.
Thank you for that! Andy doesn't get near the credit that I think he deserves as a guitar play. And he's a great person as well!!
Thank you Tim for sharing this, and Andy Timmons for such a beautiful, moving piece of music.

It seems like Andy is one of those overlooked giants. I’ve listened to him since Danger Danger but when I mention him to others I get blank stares. Thanks for covering this.
The parts you say are your favorites hearken back to Beck's "Where Were You," specifically, the section with harmonics. God, I miss him. Thankful to have folks like you and Andy. Peace.
A beautiful piece, and great breakdown here, thanks Tim.
Simply wonderful... I love these sounds. Andy is a guitar player, and his own man.... and you too are very good
That AT slow piece is so beautiful - Yes 😢 I did too…. and his shredding is just awesome! He’s the complete player…
That was so beautiful, very emotional and well executed. A long bath for the soul.
Thank you sir. Not much of a player myself, but you deconstruct so much of what I am interested in. The mind process that great talents are able to put into their fingers that coax metal strings into music that worms its way into our minds and will not let go.
Andy always credits seeing Jeff Beck live as a major inflection point in his music career. Not surprising that some of Jeff’s style comes through. What a player!

Beautiful video, Tim! Andy Timmons plays guitar with inimitable elegance and eloquence. He always seems to know what to say, when to say to it and how to say it. His tone is always perfect for his compositions which adds much to the listening experience. You don't listen to his playing with only your ears. When he wants to capture all of you, he can and does. Does Andy play the music or does the music play through Andy? His music is a gift for us all.
An actual piece of music!!!!! And an extraordinary solo chaser - Andy Timmons is always extraordinary!! And wonderfully analyzed!! Thank you Tim

I have this pedal. It’s astonishingly beautiful sounding. My other delays are not happy.
I’ve head this pedal for a while now. It has replaced pretty much all of my delay, pedals and some of my reverbs as well. Love Anys sound and would highly recommend this pedal
Tim, I agree with you 100%. Andy performs excellent note placement along with an absolutely beautiful melody that creates a warm, and sentimental feeling. His rendition reminds me of Mark Loeffler from Dire Straits song "Fade To Black". Haunting and beautiful at the same time!! Excellent!!
Thank you for all you do. Beautiful song and pedal. 😊👍🎸🎶
It was awesome when I saw it on That Pedal Show, and it's awesome that you broke it down for us. Thank-you!
Great video Tim. Love the coverage of Andy's amazing audio persona. Another one of Andy's pieces is Jubilant. It's breath taking like this one.
Bought it as soon as I heard it from Keeley site. Use every gig and extremely versatile once you get your head around it. Thanks Tim always great and as always, JD
Very nice from all concerned, particularly the man who had to leave the room and compose himself. Creative music generously received and appreciated by a great and fatherly maestro, whose impulse is to hand it on. When your musical instinct is to create and share, and to lift everyone, whether writer, player, student or innocent bystander... then we're in a good place. All hail Tim and Andy - these are the good guys, and they're not alone. Most real, genuine musicians are aware of the elevating effects of music - that's what they get from it, and that's what they want us all to experience, and to have in our lives.
The Halo is on the top of my to get list now, such a lovely effect!

Thanks Tim, Andy's solo is angelic and your break down is respectfull and an experience of him. Brilliant work... I will check out the Floyd Rose and Halo too it was awesome, but really thanks for making the guitar and music accessable to part timers like me
So gorgeous. Andy's compositions are genius.
Wow Tim Pierce! Very cool of you to demonstrate what you liked about Andy Timmons, the effects (pedal) and your breakdown of the tune performed along with the sample for the pedal. Love the fretboard view - Killer! Andy is my favorite guitar Virtuoso. His harmonies, tone and applied techniques are combined to bring a soundscape uniquely Timmons. Like many Timmons compositions very moving. Many thanks!
Beautiful Tones. Great write by Timmons.
Signed up. Loving this pedal. And as always, love both Tim and Andy's playing!
Lovely tune. That pedal is like instant cool sunny morning...
Stunningly beautiful music. Bravo to Mr. Timmons.
What an amazing lesson. Tim I have no words.
Great performances, both. The first has such nice feel. The second shred one is amazing too. Those bends at 4:20 for example. The first performance reminded me a lot of Marty Friedman Lovesorrow. Not quite the same but some parts have similar touch and feel.
I got this pedal not to recreate anyone…but just to help me create. I am not a great guitar player even though I’ve been playing for over 40 years. What this did was unlock my sonic creativity. Of the 20+ delay pedals I’ve owned over the years…this is the first one that opened my heart and has lead me to build amazing guitar parts. Love it!
I love this piece, I hope it gets released properly at some point, I've watched that section of the episode probably 1000 times!
I could see that music with a TV screen with beach waves. What a beautiful sound.
Well, you are spot on. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for this video.
That really was beautiful playing... and the pedal does sound fantastic.
I love this song so much I had to learn it ... and of course buy the Halo. Thanks Tim!
That is just a frickin tear jerkingly beautiful piece of music!!!
Check out the opening phrase of Willie Nelson's solo in Pancho and Lefty. It's very much the same as the major penta leaving out the 6. This is a wonderful lesson! I hope I get to meet you someday Tim!
Love your channel, I have learnt a lot, thank you, loving the hysteria
This piece is one of those elegant whispers from the cosmos that remind me why I ever attempted to be more than a complete hack on the guitar in the first place. As much as it’s Andy’s work, the phrasing and spacing also evokes David Gilmour for me. I can understand why the TPS guys were crying. ❤
What a gorgeous tone. It would be a lovely addition for my son.
Love real time view of the fretboard!!
