I’ve had kids groups for psychic/spiritually advanced children/teens and this very much agrees with what I’ve seen and how ideally children of New Earth should be taught. In my perfect classroom developing meditation and intuition would play an equal role as reading, math, social skills etc.

I agree that we need this more enlightened way of nurturing children’s development. I don’t agree that it should be the school/ teacher’s responsibility to do so. It needs to start with more parents doing the work within themselves to be more conscious guardians and thoughtful human beings in order to take full responsibility of their child’s spiritual development and be a beacon of what that looks like. 🤷‍♀️

Great question, I've thought about this many times. I think what's missing from schools is mental education, kinda like physical ed but for everything that's inwards. This could work on every level of the students development, from small children emphasizing emotions, how they feel, to older students learning how to stay present, deal with stress. Even on to college level where it would be more advanced. The problem is that our society in general doesn't focus enough on such things, our parents didn't teach us because they didn't know themselves. We end up having to learn about mental health ourselves, most often times the hard way.

Eckhart said before that one must experience great loss, suffering, and failure in order to be drawn to the spiritual dimension, and there is no truer words. These things happened to me and thus I had no other option but to seek out the spiritual dimension within and that's when I realized I had to let go of my Egoic Self and push beyond my ego. So, parents can only do so much to guide their children, but inevitably all children must grow and find their own way in to the spiritual dimension. Thanks Eckhart.

Two guys above exchanged their views in a following manner: 'You have a superficial understanding... = have no understanding', 'You're talking rubbish'. That is ''I'm right and your opinion means nothing, you mean nothing'. Both get away from such a mini-conversation feeling hurt, a little angry and unloved. Where's the wisdom here, dear wisdom-seekers? Seems like there are certain points which might require some questioning to avoid such a draining confrontation of two opinions. 'One MUST experience loss, suffering etc. to be drawn to spiritual dimension'. In 100% of cases? Must? Is there any irrefutable evidence? 'Suffering leads to delusion'. Always? No exceptions? Is there absolute proof?

The people criticizing me were behaving like toddlers and were frustrated because I wouldn't play the whole 100% into their fantasy, their stupidity and their madness. Enlightenment is often perceived as a path paved with intricate practices and rigorous methods but, in truth, it's a pathless path. A present undoing, rather than an achievement over time. It's a dissolving of the false, in the immediacy of the present moment, which in turn, allows this ever present awareness that already is, that you already are, to shine.

I’m not convinced that Eckhart‘s comments about inflation are correct. There is indeed a lot of inflation all over the world. Here in the US, the government printed more money, and gave out money for maybe three years, and now they haven’t again for the past two years, but inflation continues. If anybody knows more about it, I’d be interested.

Personally I think it's cruel to bring children here at this point and trying to conform them in either direction. What sense is there in raising well adjusted children for a society that values conformity to a house of lies; they can be fantastically well adjusted but they're going to be outcast and alone. Which is needlessly cruel. We need to sort out the mess first before expecting new life to pick up the tab for our ignorance.

What Eckhart describes as a conscious child to me is the total opposite. Yes the same description can apply as an adult, but not a child. I was a very self aware, timid, shy and self conscious child, and I was most definitely conscious af. A THINKING child, an observant one, observing and thinking rather than just going gung ho all over the place, totally unaware etc is imo a present child. Then as we become adults yes I can agree if you now adopt the unconscious child’s way of thinking because you’re awake to what being present actually means, then you are now a conscious adult. It’s the total opposite. Yeh this is all wrong imo. More ambiguity from Mr. Tolle.
