A low quality ".wmv" I found in an old Bluegrass folder. Don't remember where I downloaded.
Жүктеу.....

These two really love this old song. And all the old songs they do together. I had the great fortune to attend and hear one of their concerts in a little town where I was living in the 70s. The town was Duvall, WA. They were the most personable couple I'd ever met before or since. They sang a bunch of songs and picked a mess of fiddle tunes. A great event I will remember, just can't recall the exact year.

While were at it, please bring back the 20s music without Prohibition. And please, please bring back the pork pie hats too, by Gawd.

Amazing how just two voices and two acoustic guitars can create such a danceable, upbeat and articulate melody.

They get a lot of mileage outta that key of E flat. It suits there voices perfectly. G and A are made for tunes to be picked without voice.

Have you found the rest of this video yet, "My dear old southern home"? There are only 3 songs from this video that I have found online so far..(this one and two others) I'm surprised the entire video isn't up. There is so much great music on it. I can only watch it in its entirety on Netflix.

Thanks for posting this. BTW does anyone reading these posts know who owns the license for this song. It was first recorded by Bill Cox but I don't think he wrote it

Bill cox wrote a bit a music that was not copyrighted. I wonder if he did indeed write this song because it refers to Charleston and that is where Bill Cox was from. Check Acuff music out of nashville.

I am sure it is a facetious song. I was born not long after FDR's demise, and as a boy I could use any cuss words I wanted so long as I followed it with FDR.
