If there was ever two people made for each other, it's got to be Norman and Nancy. They make marvelous music together.

What a beautiful sound. Norman & Nancy - even the names of this wonderfully talented couple just roll off the tongue, like it was a natural-born, 'meant-to-be' pairing !! Bless you !!

The Blakes are treasures. Norman's guitar playing inspired me to learn to pick many years ago, along with the influence of Doc.

Same here my brother. These folks have influenced and inspired thousands upon thousands pickers of all string instruments. I especially love his mandolin vertuosity. His guitar playing is first rate and second to none. Peace and happy picking. Bob

To make a cello and a violin sound like a whole orchestra is a talent few have. The interweaving and counterpoint is so complex and not a note seems out of place as the two instruments pass each other's patterns. I'd love to see this duet written out as sheet music.

This tune is NOT Old Mother Flanagan. This is GEORGIA RAILROAD ! Listen to Old Mother Flanagan and you'll see they're similar, but way different tunes.

Oh, and it's played with a cross tuning - either A cross or G cross tuning (can't remember what it is in the recording, but I use A cross).
