OMG. I so felt that autistic meltdown coming on with that first one. Amazing that she got her piece back and she did not go into meltdown. I know how hard it is for me as “high functioning” (gawd I hate that term because it is so misleading as so disrespectful to others on the spectrum) to contain things once the meltdown trigger happens. I just felt it in my chest at that moment and was so grateful you were so quick to return her brownie to her. I know it isn’t anything about her not wanting to share, about her not having empathy for you or others. If she is anything like me and other verbal autistics she may just be feeling a lack of agency and struggling with having to make decisions too quickly. i love watching your content so much it brings me a lot of joy and healing. i’m autistic and when i was little i was forced to be verbal or i would get in trouble that now as an adult i have constant verbal shut downs and i try my best to not force myself speak because i get so much anxiety and panic when someone talks to me and i don’t respond. it’s extremely draining forcing words out and i’m learning to unmask. so it makes me so happy just how much you are gently parenting your kid because you also realized that you’re on the spectrum yourself instead of pretending you’re “normal”. kudos to you for being an amazing parent unlike my mom who is still doubting my late diagnosis and not doing the effort to try to understand me and thinks i’m trying to take revenge on her when i don’t speak or when i stim. she constantly tells me i look like i belong in a “mental hospital”

😂😂😂 We all understood that “NO!” Loud and clear. Great job Mom! She is learning and utilizing her skills! I’m so proud of her!!! Great job! I also love her voice inflections. She is definitely learning from you and it’s amazing! Keep up the great work.
That "No" was as verbal as it gets! 😅 good for her to get that out SUPER loud and clear.
I love your videos. It gives me so much hope for my nonverbal baby. Thank you so much for sharing your lives and journey with us. ❤❤❤
I love this. Miko is growing up so quickly.

Her little “thank you” made it all worth it ❤
the way she first put it and then took it back immediately😁❤
Oh what a sweet girl! I absolutely love seeing her grow and learn and overcome! Thank you for sharing your lives with us. ❤
She is verbal. Please stop saying nonverbal, mom. You are doing an amazing job. Say what you want to see. I hear words. 🙏🏾🙏🏾 such a sweet blessing
So proud of her…she’s doing PHENOMENAL with her words!!!🙏🏾❤️
Mikko was like no ma’am you cannot have any of this lol she’s doing very well with her speech. I’m loving it!!!
Thank you!! God bless you!- I wish I had these encouraging videos 16yrs ago when my son was diagnosed. You are truly a blessing. Thank you for your courage!
I’m so happy for you and her with the way she’s learning to communicate. It’s gonna make a world of difference for her and for you the look on your face and she understood what you were trying to get across to her you lit up I’m so happy for your family
Lol she is getting cheeky….like “here you go…nope” lol. She is getting so much better.
She did not want to give you a piece, that cookie was too good to share 😂❤️
The way I bust out laughing when she said NO 😂😂😂 ooooh wake that up y’all. 😂😅
i love watching your content so much it brings me a lot of joy and healing. i’m autistic and when i was little i was forced to be verbal or i would get in trouble that now as an adult i have constant verbal shut downs and i try my best to not force myself speak because i get so much anxiety and panic when someone talks to me and i don’t respond. it’s extremely draining forcing words out and i’m learning to unmask. so it makes me so happy just how much you are gently parenting your kid because you also realized that you’re on the spectrum yourself instead of pretending you’re “normal”. kudos to you for being an amazing parent unlike my mom who is still doubting my late diagnosis and not doing the effort to try to understand me and thinks i’m trying to take revenge on her when i don’t speak or when i stim. she constantly tells me i look like i belong in a “mental hospital”
That NO was so funny!!! Mikko don't play!!
I love her. That little thank you at the end🥰🥰
That's a "No" at first... then the mommy power won in the end
